I made a goal to get 450 mounts before 9.1 but I achieved that way earlier than I expected. I constantly keep thinking what could be the 450 mount achievement if they add one in 9.1
What do you think could be the 450 mount achievement mount?
If you had the choice to pick what it could be, what would it be?

wellā¦it should def be a dinosaur. A dilophosaurus or T-rex imo since we donāt have those yet!

I got those mounts and I fully approve of this.
How did we manage to get through an entire xpac surrounded by dinosaurs and not get a T-Rex mount?

Sadly, Blizzard has a history of only adding mount collecting achievements when they feel easily attainable by the average Joe, for as long as i have been collecting mounts i have gotten my achievements on patch day and itās always for a total that i hit months and sometimes years earlier.
Not sure why they take this stance though, no average Joe or new player should be troubling themselves with an achievement that takes many many years to earn and i doubt its existence would offend them either.
What should it be? Iād love to see something silly like a cow, one of the dairy ones with the black and white patches lol
Well they put in CE achieves and the amount of players who get those is miniscule. So I donāt think itās a case of not many being eligible. Reckon itās just a case of not wanting to make another mount for it.
Yeah, who knows, it could just be straight up laziness but i doubt it.
If i had my way, there would be mount collecting, pet collecting, toy collecting and honor kill grinding achievements already in existence to cover the next 2-3 years of gameplay, achievements should be there for people to look forward to and have as a goal to keep them motivated, not a trophy you get on patch day for a race that you finished years earlier.
While on the subject, iād also add an achievement point quartermaster of sorts, make it work like the old PvP gear vendors that would only sell you certain stuff if you had the rating, iād turn achievement point grinding into its own mini-game with a clearly defined reward structure (cosmetic only) that goes all the way up to 30,000 points or whatever the current highest possible is.
Hmm oh! Why not an Ashes of Aālar recolor? Maybe something blue or watery themed. The colors are debatable, but still could be interesting. There hasnāt been anything else quite like Ashes yet.

Hanging out on Timeless Isle recently I got to see two out of the three in person and was shocked (shocked I say!) at how dull the colours were.
One with a pallet of rich blues would be nice!
I misread this at first and thought, āOh god, you want an atta girl and a reward? Canāt just achieving something be its own reward?ā
But this idea, where the points are just for access, is quite clever.

Well, for some reason Blizzard views their FOMO feats of strength different from thier mount collecting achieves.

They need to add: 450/500/550/600/650
A lot of people are going to be crossing 600 by the time this expansion is over.
I wouldnāt expect much from the mounts themselves, but I could see them giving us mounts that were data-mined but never added like the blue stormdrake, the blue parrot, spectral phoenix, etc.

I assume 9.1.5 will bring us a 450+ mount achievement and some additional heritage armors.
How do we actually calculate our mounts these days though?
The actual āamountā not only varies per character but doesnt properly track. And since I have gotten the last achievement added I dont know where I am at on that.
