I’m currently looking for a semi-hardcore guild. I play both a Mage (Orgazoa Prog) and a Rogue in EP, and would be willing to play either for 8.3. I am a better rogue player than mage currently (I’ll be fine in 8.3 as I learn the fights with everyone else), but can manage on both.

Times Available: Late Night PST (10PM PST or later) TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, AND 11PM PST or later THURSDAY (until Jan/8.3, then I’ll be available at 10PM as well). If you’re OK with me being an hour late on Thursday for 3 weeks or so, that works for me.

Server preference: No preference.

Faction preference: Horde or Alliance.

Hardcore/semi-hardcore/casual: Hardcore to Semi-Hardcore. I’d like CE, or to at least push for it with like-minded players. I don’t mind if we end up falling short as long as we make meaningful progress and don’t burn out every tier.

Current progression/experience: 4/8M EP (5% Orgazoa wipe - 300+ pulls)

Logs are available for rogue (Wheelers) and mage, both visible via WCL search.

Storm 7/8M is recruiting new raiders!

Storm is an alliance mythic raiding guild located on Sargeras US. Originally formed in late 2004 on Gilneas, the guild was later transferred to Sargeras for recruitment purposes.

We consider ourselves semi-hardcore while clearing content at a pace acceptable to the guild leadership. We are an adult guild primarily with average ages ranging from 20-30s range. Our atmosphere is primarily laid back for farm but serious during progression. We expect every member to have researched their class / spec / encounters etc. and make quick adjustments to ensure lower pull counts.

We aim to get a cutting edge achievement each raid tier if it is attainable within our raiding hours.

We are seeking to recruit individuals who are knowledgeable and keep up to date on their raiding spec(s) and sims. We aren’t a guild that is interested in carrying any one individual and will expect all members to keep up with maintaining their primary main character for raids on a weekly basis. That includes farming best in slot essences, obtaining AP for HOA, Weekly Islands Cap, Mythic + weekly cache, etc. If you are someone who likes to take frequent breaks from the game or gets bored easily doing the same things over and over, (ie raiding the same content every week or keeping up with dailies and mythic +), then this is not the guild for you. We like to have fun but we also want to progress at a rate we feel we can accomplish and we don’t want to be held back.

In addition to what was mentioned above we also require the following below.

18 years of age or older
Working Mic / Ability to communicate in raids via Discord
Previous Mythic Raiding Experience
Consistent Main Raid Attendance
Semi-quick learning curve / Mechanics Execution
Positive attitude / Willingness to want to be in the raid
Lvl 60 Heart of Azeroth minimum

Storm requires a short application and discord interview before joining the guild for a trial.

Team Expectations:
-We expect all raiders to hold themselves to a high standard of Professionalism, Progression and Collaboration between team members.

-We expect each raid member to contribute to the greater well being of the team. This means coming to raid prepared each raid night with their specs fully optimized (simC/Raidbots/Pawn/Stat Weights) when it comes to gems, enchants, talents, consumables and are using the appropriate add-on/weakauras to ensure you are performing to the best of your abilities.

-We expect each team member to come prepared knowing the strategies for each boss before entering raid by taking a look at strat/kill videos/warcraftlogs replays.

-We expect all raiders to be able to take constructive criticism well so they can look into their own logs/wowanalyzer to improve their gameplay wherever it is needed.

If you are a competent player that like killing bosses without going 16 hours a week into a raid, this might be the place for you.

Top priority for us:

  • Range DPS
  • Shadow Priest
  • Mage FIRE for Azshara
  • Boomkin (currently have 0 Boomies would like 1 at least)
  • Warlock
  • Open to all classes and players.
  • We only require that they know how to press their keys.
  • Be able to enjoy memes and have a good sense of humor.

A big plus for people that can play more than 1 spec for their class in case of nerfs from blizzard or a boss fight requires it.

Trial

  1. We require Logs to start a trial, because we have a limited amount of time to raid and using it to check for performance would be a waste of time.
  2. Trial is mostly used to see if we are a good fit, if you enjoy our raiding environment and if you are able to communicate during raid.
  3. We are extending so trials are done in Azshara, a trial by fire i guess.

We have an active group outside raiding, dont expect 24/7 activity in WoW but we do hangout a lot in discord and play other games like Path of Exile, League, Dota, Warframe or any interesting game that comes out and help us pass the time when WoW gets a bit stale.

So far people that join us, stick with us for a long time.
