Why are you allowing people to get the same azerite piece from buying mythic 415 loot in a row? you have given me the worst possible shoulders twice. same ones and its the worst ones for my class twice in a row… this is extremely frustrating… and i get not even 1/3 of its value now that i have to scrap them anyways… so freaking frustrating… like the more i play the game the less things i like it and how i feel as though spending all this time grining away to get the gear for it to be the same crap i got 6 weeks ago and for it to be a waste and the worst ones in my class again. terrible system bliz makes me not even want to play it

They have mentioned that theyre looking into ways to deal with players getting pieces for the same slot from things like caches many times in a row.
Is the 415 youre talking about from the residuum vendor? Is there not a way to buy 415 for a specific slot?
What OP is getting at is that you do choose the slot, but the Azerite piece you get for the slot is random unless you pay about four times as much to choose a specific piece.
To get the exact same piece from multiple random purchases is a statistical anomaly. I’d advise OP to save up and target the exact piece they want, or to save up for when 430 and 445 get added to the vendor in 8.2?
Ah well thats part of RNG and using that currency. I dont see them going to great lengths any time soon to make sure every purchase is an automatic upgrade. Every time I beat a boss in raid (even if it took weeks to get there) there is no guarantee what will drop for me, if anything.
I’ve had similar issues. For some specs and classes azerite gearing is just a major road block that takes important chunks of your talent tree away.
In the last Q&A Ion addressed this specifically and said they are working on the code to address it.

Not necessarily. People have been talking about getting the same reward from various sources, not just the vendor.
