Hi there, my toon’s name is Ràyden on Mal’Ganis. Alt+133 for the weird “a”. I am 2/9M exp in BoD and 3/8M exp in Uldir. I started late in the expack and had actually quit back in March of 2018 when Antorus was around. I finished 8/11M Antorus because of guilds falling apart.
Anyways, I have been sorta guild hoping around and have not found the right sort of environment I am looking for. I suppose a reason why I am being so picky is because the next guild I choose to be in and remain in, is going to be the guild I stay in until the end of the xpack if not further.
I prep myself by watching videos, consulting the dungeon guide, conversing with raid leads and other players and of course the class and spec specific guides/discords/spreadsheets for my class and spec. I find I spend at minimum 4 hours a week, usually more, outside of the game researching mechanics, cooldown timings and gear combos for any new fights. I also bring with me my own foods (usually have blood sausages, haste food, crit food and mastery food) to see if a little bit here or there makes a difference and comparing when combined with given healing comps.
Previous guild I was in had big promises and never followed through. Basically was sold a dream by the GM about how great the guild would be and it fizzled during Uldir and fizzled yet again in BoD. I get that progression takes time, but to raid 3 nights a week and only have 3 mythic bosses down is a little excessive I believe.
Anyways, I am looking for a guild that raids 2 nights a week. Horde side. Mal’Ganis server unless you are willing to pay for server xfer and if required, faction change.
My past history includes main healer for Vox Radix on US-Darkspear. I raided on Blood Legion’s Saturday night alt team and was a regular there. I have friends in Midwinter US-Sargeras and WHATEVER WERE AWESOME US-Magtheridon as well as Instant Dollars US-Mal’Ganis who will all vouch for my mastery of the game, but I cannot raid with them because of me starting late.
I prefer to play two specs and admittedly, have poop for gear currently for my Elemental set because I devoted all my gear and main spec rolls to Restoration spec. I still do “ok” dps wise but where I really shine is mechanics. It is a very rare occasion I make the same mistake a second time. In fact, it almost never happens. I am not saying I am perfect, but I learn rapidly and am adept at this point identifying mechanics quickly and remembering throughout all the years I have been playing, how to navigate them deftly.
Anyways, thats my piece. If you think you might be a right fit for me, let me know. I am not looking necessarily for a high end mythic guild so long as it is a Cutting Edge guild. Meaning, as long as we will get CE together, even if it takes the entire time until the next raid comes out- thats fine. I am just tired of joining guilds that fall apart or promise this and then fail by far. Hey, if you say “We are going to get CE!” and we fall short a boss or two, it happens, no biggie. But promising CE and only getting 3 mythic bosses down- clearly theres a disconnect there.
I also do Mythic+ dungeons weekly and I have a blood deathknight alt as well as an affliction lock alt. I am currently working on levelling my 110 spriest and a fresh resto druid. I have played Blood DK, Resto/Ele shaman and spriest competitively in the past and I have PvPed on every class listed here if not more.
RBG nights are a plus but not required.
