Crate farming is idiotic; this is what you call easy mode to max conquest. Here is an idea: why not make it so that when you are in a raid group, you cannot loot crates?
What new kind of garbage are they allowing? Nothing like heading to a crate to find a 40-man jumping on it.

Most of the time they aren’t in raid, it’s just everyone in the zone gets a notification and starts flying to it.
You just happened to be in a shard that is dominated by one faction, or the faction you are on is cowards.
I can reliably find a crate farm group most any evening on Alliance, and probably a couple nights a week on Horde. It’s honestly the fastest way to cap conquest on an alt, and I don’t think it’s close. Bigger issue for Horde is outside of a couple RP-WPvP and Crate Farm groups, its just you vs the Zerg.
I wish horde could gear up using crates as easily as alliance do.
Apparently crates still drop in old expac zones and you can farm them without interference.
I’ve never tried this, but seen a few people mention it. Would need to give it a shot to confirm if it’s true or not.
All you’ve done by making this thread is advertise that it’s possible, which will make even more alliance scurry in to farm crates too.
This sounds like a very frustrated “I read that you could do this, but am only just now finding out that horde completely ceded world pvp to alliance years ago”. Sorry, but this is an alliance only way to gear up.
It was feasible, right up until someone mentions that in a highly visible way, and alliance start going there too.
Can confirm I’ve been farming the emerald dream druid forms in warmode and occasionally I’ve grabbed the chest. Same rewards as tww zones.
Honestly seems like it should be nerfed.
It’s realistically the only way to get the 1000 honor in a zone PvP achievement. As player kills only give like 1 honor.

Not surprised at this outburst due to the guild name. I have never had a positive interaction with any member of this guild.
I capped out 5x priests on like a 4k Conq cap all fresh, all late season and all super low gear. I’m talking low level PvE gear from Season 1, had ZERO issues capping conq on them, and even got to 1600-1800 on them by default while capping. IMO crate farming is fine how it is since it’s not an advantage or even relevant.
Isn’t it something like 50 conquest per crate after the first? That doesn’t sound fun at all, pvp gearing is so terrible.

No, it’s definitely a raid. Has started happening on Emerald Dream lately. Never seen anything like it before. Just 40 Horde, from all different servers, showing up at the crate.
It’s 100% a group finder listed crate farming raid.
Seems like a very boring way to gain conquest. Probably good if you’re just doing it while AFK basically.
Maybe they should just 2-4x all conquest gains from all forms of PvP so catching up is fast from any PvP content?
Also they should replace the first win of the day bonus with first 7 wins of the week.
If it wasn’t for these groups, horde would never get a crate.
