increase to % health healing abilities. This means that dps specs that have things like soothing darkness, deathstrike, dark pact, etc all scaled extremely well whereas things like regrowth, lesser healing wave, and word of glory (ret) did not benefit.

This has created edge cases where some classes are more tanky than actual tanks in PvP.

Hopefully the self healing gets addressed soon, as it’s sort of wacky to see some DPS specs out healing healers occasionally.

If only there were patch notes out detailing changes to pvp healing

Hear hear. I too am in favor of removing PvP and having those dev hours reinvested into more PvE content (namely dungeons). Removing PvP will permanently address any current and potential future PvP issues so a very good solution for Blizzard. Big ROI. The bestest ROI.

If only those patch notes addressed this issue.

Since PvPs inception, it hasn’t and WILL never be balanced. There will always be a forced meta like they do in OW. It’s obvious they do this on purpose, they have all the data we don’t. They know what is being picked, what is too strong, what is overperforming class wise and the latter. They thought we were too stupid to find pvp vendors an expansion ago.

And where is soothing darkness?
Dark pact?
DH healing
Fury warrior healing
Etc.

None of them are outhealing healers.
