4 set shadow. do i have to worry about over writing the buffed SwP

Our current 4 set gives us a powerful shadow word pain after shadow word death damages us… allot.
if i cast swp. and then cast vampiric touch that also applies shadow word pain, did i just overwwrite the buff completely?
same question with shadow crash.

No, the 4set is specifically a damage buff to the direct damage part of SWP that happens when you cast it. Dots cannot be “Overwritten” and will always scale dynamically with your own stats so never worry about that for anything else either.
