You are almost right op.

its actually a 50/50 split of bracers.

So you were denied your 2 to 4 bracers.

RNG over many expacs loves cloaks. And bracers. You can see them drop a lot.

This is like if you were to flip a coin right now and get heads 4 times in a row. I can’t even do it with a coin, THAT ONLY HAS 2 SIDES, first flip was literally tails. Delves have an entire loot pool!!!

Actual insanity. I would need a needle through my frontal lobe to continue doing farcical Delves. They should put a picture of a Nerubian Delve in the dictionary next to the word “farce”.

RNG being RNG you can also look at it this way as you just got THAT lucky and now 3 alts have gear!

I didn’t get a cloak for each time you did; thus balance is restored.

Edit: In fact, I did get a cloak! SYSTEM IS BROKEN!

I also got 2 trinkets, 3 rings, and bracers… BUT I DEFINITELY GOT A CLOAK!

omg, dont even remind me of this. I was trying so long to get the damn robe and I had a whole inventory full of just different capes. Drove me mad.

So correction, odds are not 0 despite what you’d want to believe, such things are bound to happen to someone at some point.

I can’t even get heads 4 times in a row on first flip with a nickle, I gave up flipping after the fifth attempt.

But yeah bro, RNG.

Exact same thing is happening to me. I have 7 cloaks now and pretty much all of my other slots are still below 600. There has to be something wrong here.

Nothing is bad unless it’s a repeat slot. No Crest cost now to get a better piece to 603. I got two garbage trinkets out of delves but then was able to upgrade two good ones from m zeroes.

Of course this is all pointless garbage next week when m+ comes out.

You assume the roll is “fair”. It most likely is not.

Exactly. Storm time: I geared several toons in DF S3, one of which was a DK. I did the ED weeklies so had 3 chances of Veteran gear a week. There was probably some TW dungeons (and weekly boxes) too. Anyway, at the end of the season I only had a 2-set.

But I had 16 S3 cloaks in my bank.

It’s clear that Blizzard does this kind of crap to keep you on the hamster wheel longer. We don’t know how it works in the background but I suspect there’s 1 chest piece but 4 cloaks so cloaks just end up way more likely.

At least in S2 you would get a token to choose a piece in Time Rifts and Dreamsurges. Since then it’s been pure RNG and that sucks.

lol, or unlock every slot in the vault and get 4 cloaks and 5 wrist pieces. RNG sucks sometimes.

Flipping a coin 4 times, getting the same side all times is literally just (½ x ½ x ½ x ½) or to put it another way… 6.25% chance. A little bit higher than rolling a natural 20 on a d20. You know… the thing folks do on a semi regular basis when playing games like Dungeons and Dragons.

This isn’t even remotely a “mythical” result exactly.

This is just RNG, nothing more, nothing less.
