Late. Every game I follow or show interest has been delayed this year. Every single one.

All I know is I’m hoping for beta access. :frowning:

So bored. So very, very bored.

Even the games I’m looking forward to are all coming out at the same time(end of year) so it’s like, why bother.

October/November for sure.

Probably October, they won’t want to launch during the holiday season.

(To explain for folks, it’s standard in the gaming industry for companies to shut down in late December, since so many staff would be taking vacation anyway that they just close it all down. We know from past holiday seasons that Blizzard follows this practice as well <they’ve posted about it on the forums>, and while there certainly are technical staff working during the holidays to keep the lights running, some of the dev team will be unavailable at times, so they’ll want to launch Shadowlands in November, not December, so that the staff is available to fix all the things that will go wrong. A November Shadowlands launch means an October pre-patch.)

It’ll be somewhere between late october and mid November…inside source already told me about it.

We are burning patches rapidly. I’m betting we get prepatch late October and launch in December.

Pre-patch in October IMO. Early most likely if it’s a November release. 8ish weeks from now I think.

Just remember the prepatch has to hit PTR first. So keep an eye out for that, and it’ll paint a much clearer picture of when we’d expect prepatch to go live.

Although I suspect by that point, Blizzard will have announced a release date.

We know cloak maximum corruption resistance is on September 8… so pre patch will be after that. As for the expansion… I think it’ll be the Tuesday following Election Day
