Hi I play a feral druid Acidson and I will be boosting a feral druid for tbc im currently looking for teammates to form a pvp arena team that wants to push for top! I have 2.2k exp in 2s and 3s from retail.

I think it’ll depend on how many people are playing. If the ladder has tons and tons of new players / first time pushers (which it will at first), then i think the sky is the limit for off meta stuff. but… if its super ultra competitive with low player count, then i think the meta becomes more and more prevalent. in other words, if there are lots of bad players contributing to the ladder, then something like feral can probably go a long way before it starts to get oppressed by high skill meta plyers
hopefully TBC brings in lots of players just not feeling nor seeing that big of a buzz for TBC like Classic WoW,
Isnt the tbc meta double healer+warrior or warrior/lock/x?
I think what they do about pvp gear vs bis raiding gear will decide a lot as well, i can’t see casual pvpers wanting to run sunwell just to get smacked in arenas anyway by people who have been playing private servers for 10 years
In 3’s its something like that. Double healer/warr, WLD, RMP, HLP (mana drain comp), Mage/ele. There are a lot of different comps in TBC. But yeah there are def some very annoying ones.
In terms of gear it’ll be somewhat like wotlk almost. Wear mostly PvP gear and a trinket or ring from a raid.
I think rogues take a dagger or mace. I don’t remember what it is for chance on hit to return energy

Yeah I think they did bc I vaguely remember seeing something similar.

I think this is the original and then the next one is the updated one. Could be wrong, though. Phase 4 for season 3 and now it’s phase 3 for season 3.

Ngl I am excited for pure nostalgia reasons for TBC just like I was for classic. I love the old versions of the game but TBC arena is going to be a mess lmao. Atleast like you said we won’t be behind in gear lmao.
