Do you like 3v3 PvP on the arena like this? Games that last 10 minutes. I watched the AWC, and the 10-minute fights are so boring. In the end, someone runs out of mana and dies, and the commentator yells: “Wow, what a game!” But I feel like throwing up from such boredom. I get that the PvP developer might not know what testosterone is and might not understand that most players enjoy fast and exciting arena battles. If I want a 10-minute arena match, I can play a rated battleground. I read the forums, and no one even complains about this.
3v3 is dead, just play RSS and RBGBGBBlitz

no one likes 3s. if you made a shuffle mode that put you on a meta comp for your spec (because people think its takes skill to execute op comp combos) and you put it side by side w a 2.8 retwar 3s match you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.
luckily shuffle provides us reprieve from fighting stale giga meta comps being played by the ever so skillful boosted last week fotm rerollers!! probably part of the reason why it has 15x the players!!
praying glad mounts go to shuff in TWW so we can be rid of 3s for good. if you can’t figure out how to play the game outside of running down 1 guy and hitting focus strang off cd @ 2.8 but get farmed by hansol boosting someone, i don’t really care to hear about how you like 3s and it takes more skill; only part of 3s that takes skill imo is top end r1 and AWC which 99.99% of people aren’t doing.

LoL came out with a 2v2 arena mode for craps and giggles and somehow it has had more plays, support, and balance passes in 6 months than WoW has had in a decade. They knew what they wanted and made it happen
A little sad to be honest, wish Activision would give the same love and direction to PvP

Extremely. It’s a “temporary” featured game mode but they are throwing a lot of resources at it so it may become permanent

I haven’t played league in forever, but I was a kassadin main. I might have to give it a try.
Why is that
One requires finding two others of similar rating in a functional comp and the other is just “get me into a game asap idc what with”.
i’d honestly say 3x is pretty bad all things considered
you can q anytime anywhere on any spec with no barrier
i think shuffle participation being so awful just speaks to overall participation more than it does to 3v3 participation

Try leveling to 70 it gets more active
These people make their living out of playing this game, of course they’ll trade perfectly and have cyborg like reflexes.
For a while the game was designed around these folks and it was a disaster, now I’m not saying balance around 1.5 but suggesting all games last 10 mins bc you saw it on AWC is not reasonable. (now it’s designed around M+ though, also a mess)

the overall participation in US shuffle in the last 24hr was 149,864
i just filtered both brackets to 2000+ cr in last 24hr to give us an idea of people who REALLY enjoy the modes, since that was the talking point.
Kind of hard to just compare numbers like that, anyways
Considering I imagine the majority of people would queue 3s if they could but can’t 
Shuffle is a compromise of quality for the sake of convenience
It’s just a shame that it sort of replaced 2v2 as the waiting room mode
