I play healer, I have mainly played Hpriest / Rdruid the end of this season, for the past few months.
I decided to skip out playing on MoP, despite buying the boost for MoP on two US accounts.
I play the same healers on alt accounts, including EU region, and the same issue is apparent.
As a healer, no matter which region I play on, my Solo Queues for PvP are nearly instant. Its no surprise that healers are in high demand, to allow for queues to happen. This is, until more healers play the game, or Blizzard decides to add healer bots, AI follower type characters, to heal and allow quicker queues for DPS.
The reason Solo Queue matters, is because without solo queue, the game is in fact ‘dead’.
LFG listings are terrible. Even as a healer, forming my own group. Its very difficult to climb with partners you find in LFG. The synergy is never good at the start of any session, but the problem is people leave groups after 1 to 2 games, and to no fault of anyone, it then just puts players right back into listings.
The other issue is ratings, players who are 2100, 2200, aren’t going to play games with someone at 2000, 1900, 1800, even if they are fully geared and all. Its just a disparity amongst the ratings. The idea of Challenger, Rival, Duelist, Elite, etc is great, but there is no way to specifically queue into that and progress without luck on your side it seems.
The game is pushing players away, not because of class balance and mechanics, but the system of finding players in your same category, your same ratings, or finding people near or above your ratings to help you climb, there needs to be improvements.
People want to play 3v3 for the mount, the clout, the titles. Something Solo Queue Shuffles doesn’t reward as of yet. Please change it so solo queue can have more end season rewards and titles, illusions, mounts, flying and ground, etc.
The LFG listings to find groups needs a huge improvement, or the ability for players to solo queue into 3v3 2v2 rbg’s etc. This could be the new tech moving forward to increase pvp activity, even for healers.
Thank you.
