He is right, new expansion hits, you get a wave of players, if they leave they probably dont return because of a new patch, they are gone for good or until a new expansion.
They level up, see the story, dragons good, kill bad guys, heroes win. gg, they beat wow, now to the next new gaming title.
Yeah anymore resources blizzard dedicates to any of the premade brackets are a complete waste of money - they should just keep premade in the vanilla versions as they keep re-releasing each expansion. This will allow them to put the resources into SoloQ game formats for pvp and attract new players.
The ones who’ve been trying to make a living off pvp lol, will never leave it’s their life
only in the actual number of the rating, not in top percentage. the more players there are in a mode the more great players there will be. it’s called a talent pool and people will be coming in that are better or more skilled than you(even if they never played premade 3’s). that does not make it easier to climb. there will also be more bads, but that does not matter as you should be better than them already. nothing gained there.
The thought of being able to have an AWC event of solo shuffle would be amazing to watch at a LAN event at say blizzcon however possible to be implemented (this becomes a massive production bill but worth it, think practice rooms but in the arena.
It would solve so many problems (repetitive comps and boring ez wins season after season with the same dry stale pre made teams filled with people without jobs, kids or IRL things to do that can practice 100x more than anyone else to the point the everyday joes dont even try).
Just think organizations could invest more in specific players rather than teams which historically promote this ideology that if you can’t make the cut you should give up. The orgs could cut new deals with new money for content creation and the like and not be forced to drop teams due to budget. It would open an entire new door to the world of competitive raked arenas.
On the server side front I still think glad mount should be given for legend rank. MMR needs to be fixed so its not how it is right now and things toned down. As a person who’s watched LAN events since the MLG days I think its past its prime and everyone knows it.
Its just a matter of implementation even if normal team based play sticks around for historical purposes they should at least consider the possibility of beginning a new path here and not let this go to waste like they did normal arena in 2009-2012 era when they blocked themselves from the millions they had on the table.
Yeah…you don’t have anything above 2k if you’re talking like that lol…That’s why you posted on a lvl 60. I have 3 toons at 2400 and it’s literally the same classes over and over again. Same goes for people streaming. Watching someone as I type and it’s <Rogue/DK/DH/Hunter/Pres/RestoD
I literally have an elite title and three toons above 2400, one hunter around 2600 and a healer bouncing around 2200-2400 and another hunter at 2400.
The person I was talking to has sat this whole thread telling people shuffle was easy rating but they can’t even crack Rival if their life depended on it.
No reason to bad mouth shuffle if your MMR is garbage, idc how easy you think it is.
Why do you have multiple Hunters then? Literally zero reason to do so. Elite is hardly relevant if you achieved it in shuffle. Shuffle isn’t necessarily ‘easy’ but it’s not skill based either. You’re rolling the dice every round to see if you get a player who knows what they are doing or some DH who got 2k by smashing his head on the keyboard. In my recent Shuffle games on hunter all I have noticed is people running in like mad chickens with their heads cut off. Breaking all my cc’s and training one person without switching. Literally have people training a pally when they have wings and shield up. Shuffle is not skill based and should not be a reflection of your level of skill in any way. You mentioned in another thread that 2300 in shuffle is same as 2300 in 3s which is not even close. 2300 in shuffle would be maybe 1800 in 3s if not 1650.
It’s because I like maining BM, I’ve done it every xpac prior.
The first hunter hit 2500 in around 400 games and I wanted a 2nd one to just play casually without worrying about rating snd that one hit 2600 in less than 150 games.
You will get garbage teammates, it happens but if you’re a mechanically good player you can easily rise above the RNG and hard carry games.
Also 2400 on Shuffle is exactly like 2400 in 3s, most people play Shuffle now so that’s the only rating that matters.
No you haven’t. You’ve never achieved 1750 before yet you’re talking like you have elite in shuffle but sitting at 0/50 wins. Why do you feel the need to lie? We can literally check your account and the achievements associated with your entire account. I am sure the next thing is ‘oh i have a different bnet’. Yeah, I am sure you do. Hit glad before spewing your bs
