Just wanted to go along with the current trend I see on here. There’s other threads - Vulpera hate and Dracthyr hate. This is the Earthen hate thread.

All the recent new races are BORING and STUPID. I actually think that.
Well, Earthen are kinda cool - but they’re a third dwarf race. Instead of, you know, something we all actually wanted like the Tuskarr, Sethrak, etc.
I think they should have just been extra skins and scale sliders for dwarf, but I have no hate for them
I also think DI dwarf should have been additional skin customizations of dwarf as well.
One dwarf to rule them all…with an archeology racial

Earthen are fine. Theyre just boring. And blizzard doesnt understand how impactful a new race is. Evidently.
Their voices are dumb!
That’s my only issue, everything else is fine.
Dwarves are a tripping hazzard and should be forced to wear yellow/orange clothing.

Honestly, I think the devs do understand it and they want cool new races too. But the execs don’t.
This is complaint about them also. My warrior was Earthen, but I couldn’t take his extremely calm voice lol
What’s an Earthen?
I entirely do not care about the Earthern. People keep saying new=bad and look at the low playercount but fat human and diapergnome are nearly 10 years old now and they’re more unpopular so just get over them being the new thing and let them become irrelevant.
ok now THAT is an idea. what if blizz made them as tall as, say, humans? that could have been more interesting. they’re too much like regular ol’ dwarves— they need to be more bombastic in appearance to compete. the wire beard should have been wilder! their skin rockier! taller! D:
I don’t think anybody hates the earthen. Mostly just… “couldn’t this have been a skin?” Because they’re already really similar to dark iron’s looks.
if we add a fourth dwarf race people will forget about hating earthen 
I found the Earthen to be entertaining. 
If that robot dwarven chick thanks my paladin one more time and says she wants to have a drink with me at the local tavern, I’m going to go deus vult on her.
Think the problem, at least for the high end crowd, was that they didnt get another variant of the cleanse racial. As is they dont look any better then regular dwarves, their fancy armor can be worn by regular dwarves and their racials are worse then regular dwarves.
If they had at least the racial all the horde players that rerolled dwarf for prog could go back to their home cities/faction and story line while still getting the benefits. Probably would have made them pretty popular at least for them.
