Please consider removing class restrictions from the 384 Obsidian fragments gear vendor come prepatch.
Gearing monks in prepatch will be enormously restrictive without access to this gear

Why do you NEED to gear your monk at 85? You’re just going to replace it all with quest greens and dungeon blues once the expac launches.
To be able to effectively participate in the 3 DS clears that’ll happen in prepatch
To be optimised for speedrunning dungeons come MOP launch
To increase questing speed until replacing items at approx 87 in Kun’lai summit (414 greens), potentially later considering stat weights, sockets with epic gems and enchants.
There is never truly a NEED in this game, there is plenty of want however.
For those maining monk, there will be an enormous WANT for gearing monks before launch.

why do you need to gear any character, when it is just going to be replaced next raid tier/expansion?
looking at wowhead these items at some point do gain monk/demon hunter tags letting them use it, but i can’t find the patch that does it.
Gearing something up for literally 3 weeks of farm content =/= playing the game normally
I’m maining Monk and I have no desire to farm cata raids before launch, when it’s going to be replaced by quest greens at 87.
