37 % of 120s have Pathfinder part 2

This can’t be right. Every player I see has flying.

The only thing I read was “64% of 120s are lazy”… If you just do the quests every day you will get revered with those two reps in less than a week… Idk how many people I see who only do bgs and mythic+ all day and then complain about pathfinder…

This argument is completely lame. People are not arguing about the difficulty. They just don’t want to do that boring content.

I don’t get how so many people can be satisfied with how boring the world content is right now? I guess their tolerance for boring content is just a lot higher than mine.

This makes sense. 37% of the people who bothered to get to level 120 are still playing, and 98% of the people still actively playing got the pathfinder unlocked.

That’s why the number is so low yet everyone you see has flying.

The numbers are flawed. The achievement is account wide, but only one CHARACTER earns it, “unless you rep grind out others which most of us didn’t do.”

So i for example have 4 toons at 120, and only earned Pathfinder on 1 of them so far. Going off me that’d be a 25% completion but all my toons are flying.

Read their FAQ it is per player not per character.

Wrong, he pulls his numbers from armory stats, read their FAQs yourself. All level 120 toons are accounted for.

Yeah I think they are skewing the percentage on how many people have flying.

Maybe only 37% of characters have the achievement, but many players have multiple 120s that get credit to fly without doing the achievement twice.

two months of normal grinding is more like it.

Impossible to do it in less than one week.

The problem I have with path finder is not the grinding, actually I think it is ok because you follow a story, and the rep grinding although boring you still feel rewarded with flying.

What I really hate is them giving us path finder part 2 this far in the expansion, Aug last year BFA was released and Aug next year new expac will be released, we can enjoy flying for only half the expansion, we should be able to unlock it from first patch 8.0

Then we will be walking again in 9.0

Another thing is they should unlock flying in previous expansion, we rarely go to WOD or Legion zones, but when we do and if we don’t have it unlocked it is really an inconvenience not to be able to fly, might as well don’t go to those areas.

Nope. It shows on my alt, who has done basically nothing but farm benthic tokens for this toon to roll sockets.

https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/character/us/nerzhul/vellar/achievements/exploration/battle-for-azeroth

It’s possible some of the discrepancy is that alts may not update with the achievement until you log in. But if those alts haven’t been logged into after two months, that indicates significant play attrition in itself.

EDIT: Several of the other Exploration achievements seem to be account-wide too. That toon was rolling exclusively with Farseer but has my main’s Battle-Scarred for Bladesman. This would add another set of data points to measure attrition beyond Pathfinder.

https://www.worldofwargraphs.com/global-stats/achievements/achievement-category-15298

The Veteran achievements total about 19% between all six bodyguards, and Battle-Scarred achievements about 6% – again, demonstrably shared across the account. I almost have two of them at 30 now even with the little effort I’ve been putting in since Pathfinder and missing most of the first week altogether, so there’s been plenty of time for people doing the chores.

Don’t want to grind don’t do it. this didn’t need this long a thread.

I have tried and failed at WoD PF several times lol. Freshly back and seeing BFA PF2 requirements (I had PF 1 done already)I will do this.

Why one and not the other? BFA holds some interest to me. WoD didn’t.

It’s all part of the plan.

Wod: flight is removed, backlack and pathfinder is implemented
Legion: “weeks, not months” pathfinder shown to be strung out and delayed
Bfa: grind increases. 37% watched
Next xpack: “we have the numbers. Not enough people earned flight so we feel confident removing it for realsies”

Every expansion it gets a little slower, a little more nightmareish. The goal is to make enough people sick of it so they can turn around and tell the playerbase how we bought this on outselves by not wanting to grind all expansion for a tool that’s not given back until it’s meaningless to have

Doing PF put me right off the game. I started it, then slowly over time i started doing it less and less. I didn’t even make the decision not to do it. A week ago a realized i hadn’t even bothered to log into the game for days.

GG Blizz you really know how to suck all the fun out of a game. My advice is to stop listening to the psychologists on how you can ring out my game time and start listening to your fan base. Or better yet call the old devs and ask them because you new guys just don’t have it.

Maybe, but when you DO unlock flying, it’s the best feeling ever!

compared to part 1, part 2 is stupid easy. i’m actually further along with part 2 according to wohead’s thingy than i am for part one, as i’ve already explored nazjatar and most of mechagon. revered isn’t half as bad of a rep grind as exalted is, and it’s only two factions. it’s part one that’s taking me forever.

It shows on the alt because it’s account wide, but that alt has still not earned it. Level up pathfinder on him, and he’ll ALSO gain the achievement, and the date will update to whenever you actually get it on him.

It’s because 63% of 120s quit BFA before part 2 was achievable.

yep exactly how I feel. had been logging on every night just for stupid world quest and Mana pearls on my resto druid and then sometime in the middle of the last week I started a new game in Skyrim.

I don’t have it, probably won’t get it. Waste of time for me.
