37 % of 120s have Pathfinder part 2

I’ve missed nearly 10 months of this expansion due to things out of my control.

Damn my laziness :frowning:

Why do you even have to lie like this?
You run out of dailies and WQ in like, two hours.

What did you do for the other six hours, dance naked on Azshara statue’s pair of curvy hills?

I suppose you could spend farming Junkwatt Depot and rares all day for practically no return.

I have a 10hr work days and can only afford to put in about 2 hrs a day. I got it done in the first two weeks no problem.

We are talking about raising the rep on the two new factions, right? And not… starting from zero, not even having Pathfinder part 1?

Getting around to different locations was very, very difficult.

Finding quest objectives and such was super hard.

Deaths-due to horrible tuning, I would die a dozen times a day at least.

Two zones-as if the stupid junkyard zone is not enough, there was two zones in total with quests to do.

Yes, it took eight hours easily and sometimes 12. Sure, I would take a lunch break and some bathroom breaks.

But it was a horrible grind. Even by WoW standards!!!

That site would be wildly inaccurate.

I haven’t logged on my alts since 8.2 because Essences are extremely alt-unfriendly. Almost all of my friends haven’t either. Much like me, a good portion of them also plan to unsub once they have what they want on their mains because of Essences and how alt-unfriendly they are.

Without logging onto our alts, the achievement and skill would not register on our alts.

As such, our 120 alts would show as not having them.

The fact that only 1/3 of players have “earned” flight is proof positive that pathfinder is wrong and must go.

Flight at max level-the players demand it!!!

I did Pathfinder super casually. I didn’teven play WoW. I took a 20 minute nap, drooled on my keyboard, and had both my Taxes and Pathfinder done in less time than it took to create this thread. This is clearly a L2P issue.

So because you and some of your friends don’t log into alts, obviously no one else does either?

Regardless of your choice to log into alts or not, I’d venture to bet that most players do. Even if they don’t, 37% of mains having the achievement (more by now I’m sure) is still probably a fairly accurate number.

Alts are not actually the “be all, end all” of the game.

I’m not entirely sure you are using this word correctly, like…ever.

We did get a robot parrot out of it. It was certainly less boring than killing a boss 100+ times and never getting the mount.

When has world content in this game ever truly been fun?

Vanilla had piss poor end game content design for a while and questing wasn’t super rewarding until they patched it to reward gold at max level.

TBC through MoP had dailies that maybe had some variety (I can’t remember) but really was just a grind of questing. Can’t talk about WoD cause it didn’t have world content.

None of the world content has ever been all that enjoyable or innovative. People hate any world content as being bland and boring grinds that are annoying and just time sinks or whatever label they want to throw on it.

The only thing I can point to that has changed dramatically since vanilla is the game is vastly more accessible so the world content is viewed as second rate garbage content that is evil to want to do. The playerbase seems to expect dungeons and raids to be their sole source of enjoyment.

It’s just getting through nazjatar without flying that is horrible. I was able to withstand the mechagon because I got the jetpack blueprint faster than most.

What I did find odd is we had to grind both before we could fly in either when that would of made no difference if it was “about the story”

Preface: I was the first person in my guild to unlock Pathfinder Pt 2. Maybe a day or so after the really hardcore people getting every single iota of rep. So I’m not one of those people who refuses to do the achievement.

OK, now on to the real point.

It’s not the fact of grinding or playing the game that turns people off. Flying has always been a grind of some sort. It’s the time gating via rep followed by waiting and waiting only to be met with another time gate in the form of rep.

People look at it and say “OK, well I’ll play something else then since Blizzard is telling me not to play right now,” and then they really do play something else. And they don’t come back.

That just means the rest aren’t playing anymore.

maybe some people like myself just want to play a healer.

why unlock flying to grind ap faster doing wq’s?

It’s easy to see other people flying when you are flying… lol. Maybe you don’t notice us all running in dense bush being eagle spotted by the other faction lol.

Ya that number includes all the ppl that hit 120 but quit b4 8.2

Hrm…does wowg show you having the achievement if it is the character that did not earn it?

Yes, sadly it is.

Having to get a 2nd rep to revered was a kick in the teeth. To be perfectly honest - I finally got it but I wasn’t really working it. I hate the new zones, they remind me of the kind of crap Everquest Developers use to do when Jeffery Kaplan was posting four letter explenatives at them.

Doesn’t say much for the current Blizzard developers. They managed to drive away my close friend of 15 years. He no longer plays the game. Not even sure I’m going to buy the next expansion.

Pathfinder BS is just driving players away from the game. Activision/Blizzard need to sell to Disney and then hopefully Disney will do some house cleaning, because Disney is ALL about Happy customers.
