Holy crap, since we refuse to fix the bot issue, or making mining accessible to anyone who isn’t botting we don’t have a shot at getting max level blacksmithing without spending 3-5K gold on the AH.
I have farmed 200 fel iron ore over the course of the past two weeks, i haven’t done anything outside of 2 heroics a day, and farm ore i finally reached 360 blacksmithing only to find the single option to get there that isn’t using primals, and materials is through felsteel bars.
If you have mining, then you can make them from 612x Fel Iron Ore and 408x Eternium Ore.
This is months of farming easily with the current state of our servers, how is this okay with the average player who doesn’t have 8 hours to play a day, or more?

As someone who does have 8 hours to play a day, its still not enough time to farm that. There simply are not enough nodes around the world to farm, I could spend 1 hour and maybe find 1 or two nodes in that time . Its really not worth our time the way it currently is .

Nodes shouldn’t even despawn. Give everyone an rng amount of swings like they do now, then lock them out of that node for 20 min but the next person who comes behind them can also mine it.

between low node count and 5,000 Bots it is 100% unlikely most of us will ever level blacksmithing, i have been out in Zangarmarsh for 3 hours, tried 3 different layers, and have yet to find 1 Node of anything.
Same but engineering. Fel Iron bars are still like 90g per stack so it’d cost me like 2000g just to go from 300-350.
Blizz increased terocone spawns, why not increase ALL gathering node spawns? This is dumb.

I’m beginning to run out of hope they are going to do anything at all.
They seem content to halfass respond to arcanite rod threads, but nothing else is seemingly on the radar.
I wish they would simply say hey guys, we aren’t going to do anything, stop wasting your time asking for help. It would at least bring closure to the whole thing.

yeah this makes no sense…
they need to just crank the layers back up and the resources. Outside of dungeons, the game is not playable.

Even LW is boned. Thick clefthoof and cobra scales are good luck. Bots just swarming zones while players try and beat them to the one spawn. It’s 3am and there are (as best I could count) 30 between garadar and warmaul hill. As soon as something spawns it’s tagged and dead.
When nagrand has no clefthoof you know the population is way too high.
Without a heavy hammer of banning and a lot more layers it’s only going to be bots left.
The layers are not meant for even half the number people on them.

It took me quite a while but I just hit 360 and decided to complete all quests in netherstorm for around 1.7-2k gold and sell any ore/primals I get along the way. Once you get epic mount, mining becomes quite a bit easier to do. Got 375 by just farming ores and selling any Adamantite I got along the way and saving my khorium/fel iron/Eternium ore I got for my lvling, I also would use the adamantite gold to buy some fel iron/eternium when I didnt feel like farming more

Nothing, but it’s also a similar amount of ore, plus primals so close to double the cost.
You just maxed a profession for a year long expac in 2 weeks. Stormherald / goggles etc.(bis crafted stuff) comes out phase 2 .
You’ve completed 100% of a profession in 3.8% of an expansions release.

I see the problem went right over your head, that’s okay, after all it’s not your problem. Likely out of your depth. Primal nethers come out in phase 1, not a single craft is made with a nether that isn’t from a maxed profession. NT.
Yeah it’s a big problem. Blizz really messed up here. Players need either a reliable way to farm the resources themselves (bot elimination and more/dynamic nodes), an avenue to generate gold to keep up with the swiping whales (GDKP), or cut out the middle man and offer tokens themselves. They’ve shot themselves in the foot in every single way.
If they hate GDKP, then make resource farming more reasonble. They didn’t. IF they can’t do that, at least offer a token. They didn’t do that.

I want to know why they buffed Terocone spawns in late 2025 but didn’t buff the remainder of the nodes. Like what?
