Horde - Living Flame,
Started towards BRD at 36 minutes left of eruption. Got inside at 3 minutes left. 2 step deaths on 2 minute rez timers. Blizzard. Seriously, the event is really cool, but it does not work on faction imbalanced servers with this much population. It just doesn’t, and there isn’t a good faith argument as to why we shouldn’t be able to opt out even on pvp servers while the imbalance is this bad.
Just another reason why PvE servers are superior. Because this inevitably happens, the gankfest.
Also obligatory PvP happened on a PvP server.
Tbh, idk know why alliance on living flame camp the mountain. Surely you just insta queue AV rush Drek and kite out his generals and just win in 5 minutes with the same group and also get rep. Horde, I get because queue times are terrible.
All servers should be normal… with a warmode option. (With increased chance at better loot, increased rep, etc…)
The layering infrastructure is already there.
That way the people you find in the warmode are either wanting to PvP and/or risking it for the increased rewards.
And there’s an escape valve if you’re trying to get something done and some no-life grass avoider decides you need camped.
they started with good intentions but PVP servers were always destined to fail when they’re made as mega servers that you could layer hop around. before they even offered free xfers off of the “faction balanced” PVP servers, it was shown exactly why this was a huge mistake during Ashenvale incursions like a week or 2 into P3
This event is dogsht and blizzard permanently screwed the servers by leaving shamans OP for so long,

No. Warmode was one of the worst things to happen to retail.

The 10% of the PvP Realm population there for the PvP griefing…
or the 90% of the people on the PvP Realm there for the population. (Who generally don’t want the stigma of being on “the wussy realms” …?
I’ve been on PvP realms entirely since 2019… and the only people genuinely thrilled to be there… are the griefers.

they should really add in a nerfed duration version of the STV invis upon res during the event.
so even if you want to PvP you can actually recover and fight again …
