36 Legion Weapon Artifacts

Is anyone else like this?

I created one of each class, since I saw the level 80 achievement gets you the fel mounts for free per class.

  • Stage One (done): Get all of the class halls established and collect the first (simulacrum) artifact.
  • Stage Two (in progress): Obtain the rest of the artifacts, and start the Falling Star questline. Going in alphabetical order by class, I only have five remaining - Fist of Ra-Den for Shaman, Scepter of Sargeras and Ulthalesh for Warlock, and Warswords of the Valarjar and Scale of the Earth-Warder for Warrior.
  • Stage Three: Finish either each main class quest or one zone per character (or both?). For Light’s Heart, I know you need the Tear of Elune at some point.

In any case, I should have the last five artifacts tonight, and can make sure everyone has the Light’s Heart in their class hall. Anyone else plan any project this way?

Nope.

Ran first character to 80 and completed all the zones for big account wide XP buffs. Completed the dailies and continue to do the dailies for more account wide XP buffs.

Have started a second character and am completing the dailies as well, again for more account wide XP buffs.

At some point later in the event, I’ll have enough account wide XP buffs to make a character and get like 10 levels per quest.

Yeah, I can see how people will want the XP buffs as soon as possible. I am a slow and steady, eventually get there, type player. I wouldn’t be able to stick to one character for more than a day or so, anyway. lol

I can only make 5 chars so I cant do that

I just plan on buying these mounts with Bronze. I already have 13 level 80 characters in Retail. I also have most of the artifact weapons. I don’t want to level one of each class again.

I’m right here with you. I have a few classes I am releveling because I either wanted to do a race or server change, and am not tied to the specific character (like changing this DK to a Pandaren), but outside of that, I’m not leveling a ton of alts.

…aaand done. Wasn’t feeling well Monday night, so it took me an extra day. There should probably be a small achievement, a little bronze… Oh well, now that we have that out of the way, I can actually play the game. lol

As a mainly solo player when Legion released it countered me pretty hard with constant dungeon requirements in the class campaigns, so I never finished any of them and didn’t see much of most of them. So I’m planning to use the event to see all the class campaigns, and level one of everything to 80 I guess. I’m doing it one at a time though, my first character did most of the zone campaigns and such and a lot of research, so my second character had like +150% exp while leveling. Now my third character is going to be at like +220%. So the process should get faster and faster.

I already have hundreds of thousands of bronze and nothing else I really want to spend it on, fully bought out everything on some of the vendors, so I could just buy all the class mounts now, but I figure if I can earn them I might as well.

I did ALL of this in Legion the first time. The first time I ever did ALL classes to max level and actually played all classes. It was hell.

I played Legion like it was the last game left on earth. Looking at my main and how much currency he has from doing activities, it is INSANE.

I will buy the mounts. I don’t really care about the achievements tbh. They are all FoS anyways…which we have so many now they really are just like gray vendor trash of achievements.

I’m the same and still have multiple of the same classes from MoP remix. I had leveled 25 characters in MoP. I too just buying all the mounts and transmog on my Legion remix main.

I do and it warms my heart to see someone else do it too.

:hugs:

I heard from another player who also leveled and played every class including getting all 36 weapon appearances plus mage tower on all 36 specs. They too said it was incredibly brutal.

In my opinion, this is why I support Blizz not bringing back the mage tower with all appearances earned from Legion retail. It was a second job for a lot of players. I hadn’t played retail and very aware on what I missed out on, and I’m ok with that.

I get that, but I also know people who did it in the last patch, and it was way easier.

I am in the middle for the whole debate. I really like cosmetics and collecting, but I did look at them after failing a few times on my Warlock, and actively decided that I could do without them, at the time. I don’t think it’s this huge slap in the face for either side. I just think Blizzard made a decision, and regardless of which way they went, they’d aggravate a good chunk of the playerbase.
