It has an increasing chance to break. Typically it lasts about 10 seconds with a chance to last really long or break right away

It also drops stealth unless you talent into it not dropping. Which still has a 10%(?) Chance to drop.
That 10% will feel like a lot more than 10%

Any info on what affects the % to break? I watched Cdew duel mages and more
often than not sheep would break before 10 secs.
You are literally being smashed on the back of the head. Of course you’d realistically be out that long if not longer.

A lot of stuff in classic has to be manually checked, because an item/ability will say “Has a chance to X” instead of listing a % which sucks.
Fun fact: If you smash your head on your keyboard, sheep will break early.

It uses the same percentage algorithm as pet battle hit chance where an ability that gives you 10% chance to miss basically means you miss every time.
