All regular world quests should award a minimum of either 105 or 140 anima. I want to grind out anima for all the cosmetics/features but it just feels so discouraging and overwhelming when I see these up to 15 minute quests give such little anima.
To upgrade all the covenant sanctum stuff it costs 93500. That’s still 891 world quests we have to do if the minimum each one gives is 105. So we’ll still spend a long time grinding anima, but maybe it will feel a little better.
Please Blizzard, up the anima that world quests drop

8 step WQs for 35 anima! You should be grateful, apparently?

Just dont do them. They are not worth the time and effort.
Ive upgraded the three to rank 3 merely from doing the 70’s and above.
Its not a race and i have sacrificed getting the cosmetic stuff from my covenant but that is the choice we all have to make on spending our limited resources.

Right! I need 15k anima to upgrade something and I get 105 anima for a world quest? Blizz!! How on earth do you think we are ever gonna get that much anima!

Ive collected and spent 45k. I play a couple hours a night. Its not every hard
35 per WQ is 2,671.43 rounded if your 93,500 is accurate. At 15 minutes per WQ roughly that is 40,071.43 rounded minutes or 667.86 hours rounded OR 27.83 day rounded. So its a Month of dedicated play time and or extended the playing metrics.
TDRL: Working as intended /s

They even short us 250 on the weekly. In BfA the quest “The World Awaits”, we got 1k resources. In SL, we get 750.

Dude i have KSM, i mythic raid and i still have collected enough anima to have spent over 45k in anima on upgrades.
The real question is what are you doing?
I wouldnt dare to tell you how to play the game but mate we all have choices and those choices have consequences.

By doing more than just WQs.

Sure you can do that if that’s all you do is specifically Target anima missions then log off.
That doesnt sound very fun to me and I suspect not very fun to a lot of people.

I don’t mythic raid. So you saying only the mid maxers get rewarded? Ah gotcha no wonder then.
I dont merely target wq’s…
I mythic raid, I do mythic m+ dungeons, i complete WQ’s, i do maw activities and i do torghast
Dont be basic.
Im pretty sure you get anima from doing tourist raiding at the same rate i get from doing mythic raids

Torghast should drop anima. Leave it to Blizz to make another currency (phantasma) when anima would have worked just fine.
Each of those jars you smash should give you anima. Finishing floors should give you anima.

I mean let’s see. I didn’t keep track but let’s be conservative.
4500 - 5000 anima a week every week since the 2nd week of the xpac is 12 weeks atp.
I’ve collected 54,000 - 60,000 anima since December 2nd.
Agreed, they need to make anima flow a little faster
In past expansions there was like twice as many WQs
Why so few?

Yep. The anima is not in heroics. I spam these often.
Its in epic bg once a day. your first win of the day for the daily. if that takes 2 ashrans, 1 isles, 1 wintergrasp and finally a win in AV to get it…gratz. Assuming of course you have the time to run 2+ hours of pvp.
Also, since Sire has been defeated, callings should start rewarding anima. I think 1k per calling would really help alleviate the anima problems and make alts viable.
