the current pvp conquest shield might be nice,
I have this struggle on my Tauren Paladin as well. It’s why I opted for the totem back piece, it replaces the shield on my back when I’m not in combat.
That’s almost as many pages as I have for cloak transmogs, which I always hide anyways.
Because players aren’t allowed to have palette control.

That brings up another point. Why are all the best looking sets exclusive to PvP? Like Primal Gladiator’s Scaled Armor, Grievous Gladiator’s Satin Armor, or Gladiator’s Plate Armor?
I get the new stuff, Hell, even the previous expansion having restrictions on purchase, but beyond that, let anyone with gold buy it. I’d love to finish buying TBC Season 2’s Warrior set, but I do not want to PvP. PvPers are not locked out of entire sets because they don’t normally do that content, seeing as they can easily go into an old dungeon or raid and run it with no difficulty, but PvEers can’t just walk into a random BG and expect to have a good time without the right stats. It’s skewed in PvPer’s favor.
(Yes, I know I linked stuff that’s not obtainable now, that’s not the point.)
Also, more black transmogs, please.

You don’t want to hear the screeching if those things weren’t time-limited or returned the game. Like even if it required 2400+ minimum requirement as a legacy purchase (same principle as vicious saddles but progress only counting at that rating or higher), people will come up with hoops to say inflation/one shots/meme comps would invalidate/trivialize the ease of earning them again.
I might only collect PLATE (to spare me some insanity), but at least for plate, I currently have more than 90% of ALL available xmog. 
My highest category (I think shoulders?) is 94%.
Collecting xmog will make you realize something: wtf does this game have with CAPES?? There are like 500-600 xmog of any particular slot, and then like 1400 Capes!!! Seriously… cmon!! lol

I’d go with Alabaster Shield.
I feel that, man. Blizzard really needs to work on their shield game.

Way too many shields are just skulls, fire, ugly face, large spikey things, or combination of those, and yeah, very few that I ever want to pair with a transmog.
