325 games to get full honor gear per character

Currently in beta at 85 you get 270 honor points for random (which I think may include a first win of the day bonus?).

While that’s much faster than the OP calculated, I do think having even faster honor gains wouldn’t be a bad thing considering the entire content cycle of the entire expansion is taking less than a year. Sets shouldn’t take long to grind when each tier is going to be fairly short.

I think it would be nice if they removed AV and IOC from the random set and instead added a random epic BG as a second random option with a bonus like we have in retail. Random epics are a lot less annoying to farm an honor set in when you have no gear compared to getting one shot in a 10 man where your team will be more annoyed that you can’t contribute.

You’ll get more at 85, and it won’t even be usable for the best gear. You’ll need conquest points which only come from the arena or rated battleground grounds.
