It is a roundabout way to push horde players to faction change. I don’t think it will have the intended effect. I assume that the imbalance will continue because the alliance is just boring and uninspired.

I think the bottom-line is… War Mode was their BFA signature feature and because of the faction imbalance it’s a failed feature.

Everyone wants to be the wolf not the sheep. Players will only play sheep so long until they either switch to wolf or give up. Either way, the imbalance will grow.

I do not think this encouragement is enough.

This expansion has had so little end-game to do that leveling ALTS is all there is. Where as in Legion I didn’t touch alts for 6 months, I already have 6 of my 12 alts leveled. By the time 8.1 comes out, who will still want to level another toon. Leveling toons is “yawn” mode. And for those people that like leveling, they have not reason to rush-buff it to the end.

They could make it 100% and I still wouldn’t turn war mode on if I thought I’d have to slug my way to the end.

It’s a enlisted buff, it goes for the faction with less members, that, of course, it is alliance right now. But, can be for the horde if the situation is inverted.

“Push”?

People would play Alliance again and transfer if there was a real advantage… if there was another OP racial or boss mechanic that the Alliance had strengths. But, I don’t think this is the correct choice.

Alliance isn’t boring and uninspiring any more than the Horde is exciting. I have toons on both sides and they aren’t that different.

If the game had a PVE advantage in Raids based on player number balance… people would shift… no doubt.

Funny thing I saw quite the few horde players complaining about this too. Seems just like everything is horde bias this days, everything is also alliance crying.

Actually I don’t mind … I have been waiting to get some ganking revenge for the amount of times I was ganked while leveling . I couldn’t find any alliance the few times I waited at Honor Hold and Darkshore, maybe this will encourage more alliance to turn it on while leveling :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Perhaps you will only increase the 30% to 50% for my alts!

Its not a 30% buff to the Alliance, its to whatever faction is outnumbered in that area. Some realms the Horde have been complaining about being outnumbered so they will get the buff there.

Do the Horde ever stop crying about their waifu possibly dying or all the crying during Warbringers: Sylvanas. All the I will unsub post if my waifu dies post is just embarrassing at this point. The crying goes both ways
