So annoying seeing all these +30 key or higher groups with “post vers” in the title and I join the group only to see the leader has 40% vers and not even 740 ilvl. All people want to do is just get hard carried. Like at least be able to pull your own weight before you post “note vers.” Not everyone wants to carry people.

+40 Note Vers
Honestly, it should be commonplace for group leads to list ilv & vers/LU on high keys. I HATE that we can’t see this info in the finder.
I’ve only done lower keys so far (+8 to get my IK achieve and pushed to 11 so my key didn’t reset too low) even though I’m 740 & over 200 LU. Just not a fan of M+. I dread going into higher keys because of OP’s point.
As far as “Make your own groups” is concerned, that only works up to a certain point. If you feel comfortable at a certain key level and don’t want to go above 30 for example, you obviously have to find OTHER people’s groups to suffice.
30+ was easy to get done doing own key.
I’m referring to keys that are already beyond an individual’s level of comfort. At a point, if you feel comfortable at a certain level and do not want to go beyond that level, you depend on OTHER people’s keys to remain at that level you feel comfortable with to keep playing M+.
Hence, OP’s point.
I took it easy this weekend so I only have 250 vers. I wanna be carried in +30s pls.
Or, you go to Lindormi and ask her to lower your key’s level. She can do it as many times as you need until it’s the level you’re comfortable with.

I have to yet even bother with a 30 because this situation will become worse, so I’m waiting for them to finally stop the timegates and open the gates with the IP and gains. I’ve already reach the goals that I wanted, leveled the classes I wanted (despite not needing them) I’m not in a rush to get this two annoying achievements right now.
I did my +30 with around 160-170 vers I think. Died once but was otherwise fine. Not solo obviously.
I did try a +39 with 200 vers. It did not go well. Gonna wait for 300 vers before attempting a +40 for the title. I think 300 vers is gonna be the defacto minimum for people attempting a +40. Possibly 400 vers if they’re pugging.

You can lower the key easy? just go to said dungeon start it then exit reset dungeon rince and repeat till you get desired level.
Yeah lot of us carrying people are just farming the IP so you get carried we get IP win/win tbh.

2 people at 400+ is enough to do a run quite fast from what i seen. hero talents matter as well sad to say.
good example is Frost DK lot are using deathbringer and have no idea its about a 45% DPS Loss due to Other specs Pets that get boosted by your verse and your stats…
But if you wanna solo 30s think most classes can do this at 400 with ease. for 40+ yeah idk from what i seen and saw streamed you need at least 500 to solo a 40+ key to a point where you wont just randomly die.
