30 day auction restriction ruined my game!

The new 30 day wait for AH has COMPLETELY screwed me.
I guess I’m limited because I just subbed literally just over 3 weeks ago yall :woman_facepalming:t2: But it’s RIDICULOUS because I’ve already been playing WITH auction for 24 days. Last time I logged off before the stupid new rule I had put ALL of my gold in to making things for the auction. Now all my storage is completely full, if I sell my stuff at the vendor I’ll be lucky if I even make one gold.
this is already day 4 so on top of that it’s wasted a a week of my game time.
I can’t reach a human at battle support to explain that this is literally the worst move and that I’d like refunded for my week of game time where I’m literally unable to play without losing hours worth of progress on in game money.
It’s almost ruining the game for me, I hate going back with the better side of two weeks of game time wasted, especially with all the all nighters I pulled these last two weeks to get where I am.

Exactly, my storage is full so now I cannot play. Just complete bs. They owe us game time since we cannot play right now.

EXACTLY!
Contacting support is worse than pulling teeth, I had to write one that said “PLEASE ACTUALLY READ “ in hopes I won’t just get an automated response again.
Literally any acknowledgment on their end that this is extremely not cool would be appreciated.

CS and SoD forums have a pretty large amount of feedback on this posted today. This isn’t being ignored by Blizzard.

Yall saying we ain’t the ones you’re trying to punish but that you purposefully kept us in the dark as long as you could got me irked. A heads up so I wouldn’t have been screwed would’ve been great.

Understandable. I think the intent was to roll out then announce so that the target of this change, botting/rmt, accounts didn’t have a warning ahead of time.

It has been bungled greatly though. Luckily the responses from blues on this are pretty quick for blizzard responses and actually contain apologies and accepting blame for the mess up and issues.

I can see some holes in what they’re doing but meh, it’s only a month of restrictions. I think there’s a better way but in the case of the OP, they’re 75% of the way through it by default.

There’s a lot more to do in WoW than just the AH and if that’s the only reason you subbed… well… :person_shrugging:

i havent left the ST tunnel.

the repair is inside and there’s no reason to go into town.

its only 30 days as a new player not being able to use these is prob a good thing for u as it will let u learn the game better. this change is just too good against bots and is a good thing

My guess is they wanted to trap the gold currently transitioning. Not sure why they needed to do that, rather than just banning all accounts involved once behavior is found, after the fact. Maybe to pause the gold from being able to enter the open market and have trickled out into legit transactions.
