Ret is 17% of the raid community dps, enhance dps is .3%. Why are the devs ignoring this? It’s glaringly obvious enhace is broken. Top enhance is 90-100 dps behind warriors/rogues. Druids who enhance should match are 60 to 70 dps ahead. Even ret is 30 dps up. Why nothing?
Now tell us the enhance tank %.

It’s a sign.
I’ve only been raising a red flag about it for weeks now. Enh is the only spec behind the median average in what is almost unquestionably a melee dominant meta.

Physical DPS is leagues ahead of everyone in this phase … because casters need spell damage to build up. Enc is half physical half spell… that is why they are so far behind.
17% and pali tank is 15% warrior tank is 63%. Resto shaman is only 4%.
Pretty much. Half the buttons we press even after getting Stormstrike will still be Shock spells.
There’s no way we’re keeping up in Phase 2 without a Rune of Mental Quickness for AP to Spell Damage and Healing conversion.

Last raid on my Enh shaman I was bottom dps in the group, and had to stop attacking entirely to prevent ripping threat off the warrior tank.
Even if I was able to put out higher dps amounts on paper I wouldn’t be able to actually achieve them without ripping threat.
And this was with using flametongue offhand for less overall threat output.
DW Enh shaman isn’t just a dps #s problem, there’s a fundamental problem with the threat generation and superior scaling of dual rockbiter

Fun fact: resto shaman is performing just fine. However, they’re basically a bricked character outside of group play. You need a respec to use the character outside of raid.
Meanwhile druids can play restokin, and priests are priests, they can priest anywhere.

dumb people tend to heavily rely on statistics to give them the answers to tough questions so they don’t need to look any deeper than that

100% of all statistics represent the past, not necessarily the future.
This is also a thing. I’m running OH Flametongue as well, and despite being #5 in my group’s damage meters I’m #2 on the threat meter and I’m meme’d on every run as the third tank.
This probably won’t be as much of a problem in Phase 2 because we’ll be able to WF on our MH which is at least competitive with Rockbiter.

I rip aggro on him, raid leader calls out Lightning Shield totem in 2 seconds, all melee and tanks stop attacking, and then I eat several Windfury strikes to face for 370 damage each.
You’re doing that boss wrong. You’re supposed to kite the boss away from the windfury totem so he stops benefitting from windfury, but also so you don’t have to kill the totem.
Idk we just facetank him with the WF totem and our Ret tank is fine. Are you guys world buffed and consumed?
I’m pretty sure my group’s tanks are just eating the WF strikes as well, but I’m not built for that and died to it like twice so I’ll try to keep that in mind the next time I realize I’m still getting smacked and everyone’s dropped dps.
Last reset I just waited until the first Lightning Shield totem dropped before I started engaging with dps.
