What are your plans for all the dead servers you created?
My server was a golden ratio 50/50 max population server going into P3.
Your poor excuse of management brought countless alliance transfers into my server just before BWL. Queues skyrocketed.
You added free Horde transfers off the server to help fix queues but again due to your lack of oversight 99.9% of the horde left en masse before you pulled the plug.
There’s literally 3 people in Orgrimmar right now and there’s usually less then a dozen 60’s on my server during peak weekend hours and they’re all Chinese bots.
It’s been like this for going on 7 months now. No sever merger. No free transfers. Nothing. Not a peep. You’re literally holding me hostage for $20 a character because of your mistakes. Something I had absolutely no control over. It’s unbelievable.
My entire classic experience has been completely ruined by your lack of management. Hands down worst customer experience I’ve ever had with a company.
I dont think this was accidental. Transfers are the only supplemental income they have in classic. The writing was on the wall when cross-realm battlegrounds were announced. They fully know the delicacies with the vanilla honor system.
And not surprisingly, transfers were made available the same day battlegrounds debuted.
If you are still enjoying the game and wish to continue playing, bite the bullet and pay for the transfer. Classic is a miserable experience as a solo game.
what server? seems like the direct opposite of my server Skeram. There’s a billion horde but as far as alliance go the entire alliance server is my guild which is how we make it work. It’s kinda unique. Cuz even thou we have one of the lowest alliance pop servers we still raid weekly and are clearing Naxx. And if you want to pvp horde, you have them where ever you go.
I was just wondering to myself…If someone stormed up to you, stuck their finger in your face, and said this exact thing to you…would you be even the tiniest bit motivated to do anything about it or even communicate with them further on it?
3 people in Org is not indicative of a dead server, but rather a seriously imbalanced faction ratio, that blizzard didn’t lift a finger to prevent, and in fact perpetuated by incompetency and horrible decisions.
If I were in charge of a company, you bet it would. Part of a good business model is listening to your customers. It’s better they come to you angry than not say anything at all. It shows they WANT to keep enjoying your product. It shows they care. Silence is a sign of apathy.
See, here’s the thing. They did not want to even do the project, and despite it’s success they still do not want to do more than the bare minimum to keep the hamsters fed. The dislike for the project by the company is palatable.
Imagine as a company having so much money rolling in, that you genuinely hope a profitable ROI fails.
On the topic I feel for you OP but you’ve made threads about this before right? At that time it was suggested you pay for the transfer for one character, you reroll which is free or you wait for the (unannounced) TBC.
This has 0% to do with the Incendius situation. If you read what he said you would know that.
I’m on the server where most of these transfers went and my server is doing fine. Yes there has been a bit of a population drop and that will continue. This is normal when all the content is out. It happens every time until a new expansion drops.
It’s like you read the title and got all excited that you would sound smart but instead it’s the opposite.
