ummm, yeah, just logs and basic data. Why are you here? You’re arguing that priests are better than hunters? Do you have anything credulous to bring?
I am sensing a pattern here.
You know I wasn’t there I wouldn’t know. Sarcasm, I jest.
And raids and m+ differences! I know lol, but again why is pugging a bad thing especially in a lower group scenario. For me raids, especially for example CN in this xpac you want to have coordinations. Take for example sludgefist, or council, Sire. They are all scripted coordinations.
Same with 5 man dungeons, the same mob/pack/boss spawns only thing different is modifiers. So to me, pugging a 5 man isn’t a big deal unless I was doing it for progression ad nauseam.
Not trying to argue, but debate. I would like to know if I should start building a 5 man for m+ each week, rather then pug for my sanity
What is it? Would be surprised if you typed something credulous at all.
Who cares about heroic parses? Lets look at the highest level of content here and not trivial content.
Since your complaint is about M+ btw lets look at M+ parses. They show you are a worse player than me.
I never said priests were better than hunters. I’m stating facts based on logs and parses which you brought up first which compare you to others playing your class.
Objectively both our parses are bad in Mythic CN but mine are still better than yours in every objective way to look at it.
BTW, I pugged 99% of my M+ keys and still have better parses better than you overall.
Can you bring some facts please based on M+ and if you insist on going to raid lets use the highest content available since we are both 3/10 Mythic CN. In both categories you are a worse player than me.
I’m going to point out something to you… it is really easy to shake your tree and get you aggressive.
I didn’t say pugging was a bad thing.
Blizzard accommodating people who pug to make pugging easier, especially mythic plus, is a bad thing though imo.
If people are going to be intolerant or not flexible and not realize the limitations of pugging, then I don’t think they are people who should pug.
It’s because they are basing their entire argument and complaint on feelings and emotions and when confronted with actual facts ( that 100% contradict what they actually say ) they don’t know how to respond.
Everything that you typed supports this entire thread. I’m obvious a better player than you, but I play priest, so am subjected to being pushed under you in m+. tbh you responding the way that you do is the best thing that could possibly happen in this thread.
I’m sure a lot of people already pointed out the elephant in the room - make your OWN group. That’s the way. You can pick whoever you want or decline, your choice, you’ll be that person everyone hates.
Please post your evidence for being a better player. We are all waiting for it. You brought up logs and parses but mine are better than yours in both raiding at the highest level and in M+.
What evidence are you basing your statement about being a better player than me on? Objective evidence please.
literally everything I’ve done in the entire game is way above what you have done. I’m a 99% player, and you are beating me in m+, and you are part of the reason why in 14 hours of trying to get invited to m+ that’s far below my level, I still cannot get invited. Thank you.
Please post your evidence of being a better player.
ummmm, every level. Look at your parses, look at mine. Pretty simple.
So… here’s the thing. I remember you from a post last week. This isn’t a priest problem. this is a perception problem. One that quite frankly doesn’t have a solution. I have never played a game where mass hysteria has been so rampant.
Take fire mage, for instance. Everyone just obsesses about them because they saw one on twitch, so now everyone wants a fire mage. Thing is, they’re right. They do want a fire mage, BUT! What they dont understand is that they have absolutely no idea how to utilize that fire mage.
It’s a pug group, nobody in disc 95pct of the time, and the tanks really dont know how to tank around a fire mage. So the stuff they see on twitch that they hope will happen, never does. It takes an entire team effort to make a fire mage work. Everyone has to be on board and know the gameplan.
I play both, but I have yet to be out dmg by any mage, item level for item level, across a whole dungeon. And that’s before the buff. But I get removed from group after getting invited. its people. nothing can be done a out people’s ignorance
You average 97.4% on parses on warcraft logs for M+.
I average 98.7% on parses on warcraft logs for M+.
That says i’m better than you. Please post your evidence that supports your claims.
I agree if you believe accommodating people who want the same gear as say people who complete harder content is unfair.
But as far as making pugging easier, I believe a solution like mmr could be in place for true “pugs” otherwise it is up to the player to form groups IMHO. Say for example CoD, imagine if you could join a PuG m8, in 5 mins with all people who have completed a 8 timed before.
Thus its skill based, if you mess up its on you/the group. I would say that is a fair compromise to this matching people seem to complain about. But other then that I really don’t mind waiting to find/form a group with randoms based on looking at rIO till a solution is viable.
Totally agree with this. 100% agree with what you wrote, but it’s missing the point of priests having a rough time atm.
This is true…
I hate grouping with hunters… mainly because I always end up that hunter that thinks facerolling their big multitarget abilities and pulling more than I can handle is a good thing. Maybe I’m a trash tank… but I know my limits.
That is the limitation of pugging.
And there has been no evidence presented in this thread that indicates priests are having a rough time atm. Are you most desirable, maybe not but that is how the majority of class/spec are in terms of high end mythic plus. And guess what I don’t think there is a single thing wrong with that.
