The time I’ve been in queue for Sanctum of Domination LFR. Does no one do this anymore? I just started playing SL again after taking a break since 9.0.

There is no use of Sanctum LFR anymore.
The only action SoD may be getting now is specific Mythic bosses for some very very specific loot, like cheat death trinket or Edge of Night.
LFR SOD gear is 213 ilvl. You can get better gear for 500 anima at a vendor.
Do SoF LFR instead.

LFR is pretty cringe.
The ilvl is terrible, the loot is garbage, and honestly it takes longer than normal mode typically because so many people are afk doing 1k dps or even worse you have so many AFK that the group wipes and then you sit around for 20 minutes waiting for a tank after someone leaves.
Honestly just take 20 minutes to review all the fights on YouTube and toss an application to 5-10 guilds in game.
Even if you join a super casual friends and family guild that just does normal mode it will be an infinitely better experience than queueing LFR.

Weekends are best for old LFR wings. Still longish queues, but better than an hour usually - esp evenings.
I can’t, my ilvl is too low for the newer LFR. Besides, I wanted to see the content and have a quest to fight Sylvanas.

What’s the required item level for SoF LFR?
ZM has a vendor for 226 gear for every slot.
On top of that, if you do the console for Pocopop, your Cypher gear will eventually get to 252 ilvl. I believe it starts at 233 though. Don’t forget to do world bosses and do some M0 and Heroic dungeons for easy gear.
Likely stuck doing it when 10.0 releases and they have the LFR queue NPC available.
It requires 220. I’m at 206. I just finished the 9.1 campaign but haven’t started the 9.2 yet.

Season 4 of Shadowlands will make all 3 raids “current”. So, everyone should be able to see everything then.

Ahh, definitely didn’t read that. I was expecting to read and see more dungeons, PvP stuff which is rather typical what its always been but Raids is a new one. Glad to know now.
In the context of this thread, I think I understand this a bit more now. Maybe I’m not as vehemently against it now.
Once you start the 9.2 campaign, you’ll get a bunch of 226 items (full set iirc) from doing the campaign. There is also a vendor that will sell you one in a slot your missing for 500 anima per slot.

If it’s for a legendary, you can just buy them now in zereth mortis, or korthia if u did that when it was relevant.
I think there are a lot of players that want to experience the raids in a no-pressure environment. I personally have run through a bunch of old raids just to see them first-hand. Blackrock Foundry is an amazing environment.

Ehh meh I’m just not gonna queue lfr. I’ll go back do some old raid for transmog annd that’s about it.
Wait, really!! Where at? Could be some perfect pre-grind gear. It would be super nice to start my fresh 60 Druid with gear that I can jump into heroic dungeons with and continue the grind from there (without needing to hit AH).
Crap…AH made me think of Leggos…I don’t have the massive gold sink available that this expac requires…ugghhh
