As time gated as retail is I don’t know why anyone would want 3 days early access. By week one you’re back to the same position every other person is.

Yes, correct, that’s what Ion/Blizzard have said, there is no content that will allow people to gain a long term competitive advantage with the early access.

It’s not the leveling it’s the additional time to farm for gear that causes the advantage. Not to mention it creates gear/level disparity in guilds. You will have people getting rejected from M Plus keys first day of the season and PvP will be terrible because of the gear gap.
Do you honestly think they’re going to change their mind on this or are you just looking for more reasons to be outraged because the other ones you’ve listed are trash so far?
The season starts 2 weeks after launch, so if people are getting declined on day one of the season, that’s not due to the early access period. Those people who didn’t get early access still had 2 weeks to get M+ geared.
They were fine, you’re obviously mad. Calm down and come back when you’ve had some time to think it over friend. Maybe if you weren’t so outraged over someone having a differing opinion than you, you could see logic

the point of the early access is to spread out the logging in issues and not throw everyone into the same area.
If they can justify that by charging a bit more, then so be it, I guess at the end of the day it’s their prerogative. Now I am not one to really say whether or not charging a bit more for 3 days early access is a good business model, I don’t have a say in that, what I do have a say in is if I choose to buy in or not.
Whether or not I did is MY prerogative. So I can’t complain either way. It’s simple logics, you either spend the money you have and buy what you want as the accepted cost, or you don’t and keep your opinion to yourself, ultimately if you don’t like it there’s a base level available and beyond that, you just don’t buy into it at all.
Why buy any game if you’re so miserable in doing so? You’re not going to accept that at the end of the day you have creative developers on one side and on the other you have the business, they aren’t hurting because you are all uppity about where you feel you’re being forced to play, let alone purchase.

What does this have to do with anything?
First of all, one of their listed reasons for providing early access is so people can start leveling over the weekend when they aren’t working/commuting from their 40 hour job.
Second of all, again, the season starts weeks after launch. If people are intent on doing those grinds to be ready by season one, the lack of three days early access isn’t going to affect them at all because they still have two weeks to get ready for season one.
My entire point is that this early access period will provide no long term advantage for anyone, and by the time season one starts, those who want to participate will still be able to because they’ve had plenty of time (no less time than any other expansion) to prepare for it, and the people who don’t care will not care. No one will be left behind, so what’s the issue?

Yea, trying to say “it’s do people who work can have a chance for release” doesn’t make much sense. If you don’t have the time to play, those 3 days won’t matter you’ll be behind again in 3 more days. The only reason to have it available is so people will pay for that advantage.
The issue is that it will regardless of what you keep saying.
