I just resubbed yesterday knowing i could play today…I guess i should have tried logging in and maybe would have seen im one of the many with this issue. Ive gone through all the forum help and nothing, been waiting here to see a blizz response or reason my realm is up and active but i cannot get past realm selection…

yeah man me too
im in Canada and have the same issues

I’m having the exact same issue. Connects to the game normally, selects the realm, game says its loading for 20 seconds, then kicks me back to the main screen. Also from Canada

i really hope they will fix this soon, thats a killer 1 week after release.

Only way I can play is using a vpn.

Which one u do use ? is it free

Howdy!

We are currently looking into players not being able to login after the DDoS event. I don’t have anything to share at this time but workarounds have been posted by other players over in the main thread Here.

Thank you.

I am having the exact same issue and also reside in Canada.

What about for those of us in which no work arounds work? Neither increased TTL nor connecting through a VPN fixes my issues.

Howdy!

Great question! You have a few paths to take from here. I recommend to wait till the issue is resolved and if the connection errors are still occurring then we know it’s not related to the known issue. You can move forward with troubleshooting at that point. You could also just jump into troubleshooting if you don’t have a problem with that.

If you want to do everything possible, you can complete basic troubleshooting. After that run a 10-minute winMTR when the error is occurring. Post the results in a new thread if you need help reviewing the test!

I will warn you. A key issue here, these error codes are still general disconnection error codes they can occur for multiple reasons. When dealing with an outstanding issue that is causing a string of general connection errors. There certainly will still be your normal flow of users with connection errors vs a lot more players impacted by that “Known issue” but it’s harder to tell them apart without doing troubleshooting. On the other hand, we want to be careful around times like this so that we are not sending countless players to go troubleshoot and spend a lot of time on doing steps that may not make a difference. That can be even more frustrating.

I hope I was able to convey the difficult decision here only troubleshoot if you don’t have a problem doing so. I generally recommend to wait for the issue to get resolved, and if it still continues jumping into troubleshooting is best at that point.

Thank you.

i am aswell and also in canada tried all their so called troubleshooting bull with no progress still the same non sense error code…

The way I see it nobody seems to know exactly what the issue is. It has been 4 days now, and counting. Should have something to share by now about this issue.

Since 3 days I’ve been experiencing latency of average 10000 all day long on Oceanic servers only (Classic).
There is no lag on American servers and on Retail wow (oceanic).
