Blizzard adding gladiator distinctive achievements in the upcoming MoP Classic patch so it’ll say which bracket the gladiator was obtained in, as well as a unique gladiator title/achieve if you get r1 in 2s, 3s, and 5s. Can 2s on live have regular gladiator back or something? It’s the only bracket which currently offers nothing unique.

If the game is ded then it won’t matter if it’s added. Solo shuffle and blitz have already added a slew of achieves and titles on a far more easy to access level. Might as well add it back to 2s.
But blitz/shuffle don’t have the mount.
You are right about that, they don’t have the mount. Yet they still retain some insane popularity. I’m not sure what your overall issue with 2s having glad is and tbh you really don’t need to explain it to me. I just know while the bracket can be unbalanced or meta heavy, 3s can be equally as fotm centric so I’m all for giving it BACK to 2s.
Ye they should add the mount to 2’s and shuffle. Keep it out of BGB because glad is an arena mount. 3’s will die but it’s already dead, so who cares?
Nah they need to keep it out of shuffle. That mode already hands out the achieves much easier compared to the other two brackets. Let it keep the unique titles.

Tbh though, what people need to remember is MoP is still %/spot based while retail is a static number so it’s unlimited.
I guess if it came down to having to choose I would prefer the premade brackets to get a mount & not any of the solo qs.
Imo though, a unique mount for each with shuffled rewards would be prime but we all know that won’t happen.
I’d disagree with you there, it has also had it in the past which shuffle has never had. I don’t think blizz will bring it much to my dismay, but it is not in the same camp as shuffle at all.
I do like the idea of giving the non solo modes mounts if anything. Reward players for putting in the time and effort to que the mode.

You do understand that it’ll never happen tho right? Because they can’t continue to devalue the mount even more. Especially when they have several devs that are R1s who don’t want to see 3s die.
The entire reward system needs a rework.
• each bracket should have a unique mount.
• each bracket should have unique rewards.
• brackets overlapping rewards just funnels people into the path of least resistance not what’s enjoyable.
There’s definitely problems that need fixing but what can ya do.
I think it’s only 1 R1 dev tbh.

2s was and will always be a braindead comp. this is why no rewards nothing from it… Boring meta at high mmr same people over and over games lasting for ever…
They purposely disincentivized 2’s to encourage people to play 3’s. Obviously they shot themselves in the foot years later with shuffle but make no mistake about it, if they added titles and Glad back to 2’s then 3’s would nosedive off a cliff. I really doubt they are ready to do that yet and if they did the end of the AWC would probably follow shortly afterwards.
None of this is to mention how imbalanced 2’s is with it heavily favoring specs with ms. I know people have fun making things work now but if real rewards were added back to the bracket it would also draw in more competition and you’d quickly see everything without an ms effect pushed out from anywhere near the top.
I think 2s has a lot more option for comp diversity than most people know.
OG arena shipped with 2s gladiator, 3s gladiator, and 5s gladiator. Bringing it back it to 2s isn’t an issue imo.
Not one of you looks at a brutal netherwing Drake, or any cata mount, or any wrath mount and go “yeah but they got it from x” “yeah but they played y.”
