For those of us not fortunate enough to have the turtle raid trinket, what is the best one to pair with Freightrunner’s Flask: Vile Vial of Volatile Venom, Lightspire Core or Effigy of Ula’tek’s Faithful?
And before people say “sim it,” the sims were fairly inconclusive.
Well ideally if you can’t get the Bag you would want the Wavecaller’s Seastone which is only slightly worse but that’s even harder to get since that boss drops many more items and has a diluted bonus roll pool. The turtle fight really isn’t that bad on heroic and you have a 1 in 3 chance of bonus rolling it since that boss only has 3 pieces of loot for mage. The Mindpiercer’s Sigil would be the next best thing that isn’t from a raid boss.
Of the ones you listed I would definitely exclude the Vile Vial since it’s also an on use trinket and having 2 on use trinkets is very clunky. The Lightspire Core is also quite annoying because it’s basically a random proc Rune of Power that you have to stand in and mastery isn’t even our best stat this season. That leaves the Effigy but it’s one of the worst passive trinkets this season.
If you have to ask, it doesn’t matter.
Yet you bothered to comment.
