With the reveal that the legendary weapon is a 2h axe with no specific class ties this would be the perfect time to return this much requested playstyle. The shaman class as a whole feels neglected and this would be such an easy win for some goodwill from the shaman playerbase to return the playstyle.

It would seriously make my month if they announced its return. I loved it in classic and would love for it to return to retail as an option to play with.

It’s probably a WIP, but Wowhead has this and it’s literally just Gavel 2.0 at the moment.
Which is cool because Gavel was a VERY cool (and absurdly strong) weapon.
Gavel just was a legendary.
If this new legendary is just gavel, I expect to see it as BiS for Bears again.
Well, I don’t think Druids can use 2H axes.
