292,626 WoW Token

I remember 400,000 not that long ago.

wish i had the gold to buy a bit up of em.

Good to see the token change news hasn’t done anything permanently destructive to the market.

Yeah I watched a manthieus or however you spell his name and he broke the news down so it’s nice to see the token might actually fall down a bit.

less now … i may buy a couple

i remember the days when it was 100,000, be happy that its increased that much.

it was far lower than that… and ppl bought years and years worth of sub time.

Just bought three so I could finish the epic pre-order purchase.

People are back and buying tokens off of the store to add gold for raiding and stuff.

Does this mean people are not playing as much? Blizzard did alot of changes people don’t like making people quit. I can understand wow tokens losing value.

I held my gold pending the release of the new raid, knowing that token prices would dip like this.

This means that more people are playing right now, or at least there are more uses for WoW gold that people want, tipping down that arm of the supply/demand teeter totter. Mostly due to raid guilds needing consumables for the new raid.

Overall, the game needs better evergreen sources of WoW gold demand overall since literally every other Blizzard product and service is loaded up on the other side of the equation and usually catapults the costs into the stratosphere over time with no good gold sinks.

In the good days they were 20k, and I’m still living off that pile :dracthyr_cry_animated:

Didnt exist at all

Looking back at the sites that have the historical price graphs, the highest it hit in NA region was back in this past October when it double peaked at about 365k. It nNever actually hit 400k in North America.

You’re right, good and WoD shouldn’t exist in the same sentiment.

Moo on this

They just released a new patch. The whales can’t buy enough gold at the moment.

If they had released an expensive gold mount the price would have gone way down.

The token restriction I don’t think had much to do with the gold price of tokens. They chose to do nothing about it via releasing fancy new gold mounts for a long time.

I do wish I had bought like a decade of game-time or so when the tokens used to be 30k. It’s crazy how much our gold purchasing power has changed over time. Especially if you haven’t done much to make gold since mission tables.

If you do that from 1/1/2016 to present, the low was 32k and the high was 402k, but bnet balance tokens didn’t start until 2017. Post 2017 they’ve gone back down to low 100k multiple times though even though we never had the ease of raw gold farm we had in WoD and Legion since then.

The lowest price since 2020 was actually 105k so they dropped really low at one point not that long ago.

I remember when its was 20,000 ,
