Just got out of a skirm and my team mate (prot warrior) died from a 2.9 million agony crit. I get tanks take more dam, but this lock’s details shows max 2.5 million non-crit (869k average non-crit tick) and a 2.9 million crit. What am I missing?

sound like the lock had that skillful agony play.
If it was Unstable Afflication I could understand if it was dispelled. Maybe details bugged out and this was actually UA being dispelled?

Unless they changed it tanks in PvP take 50% more damage then other specs, to offset their extra health / defense.
50% more would not mean 3 million dot ticks.
Tanks take 67% more damage.
I leveled a lock and hit 80 yesterday
there’s no chance you’re hitting that hard with an agony tick
unless you had like 10 stacks on CTF map with a tank carrying, its impossible

Something bugged for sure. Ive never seen agony hit that hard. Maybe like 115k on a normal crit but never would it be 800k+ or even over a million
Yeah I feel like people are missing the obvious point that a dot tick, even on a tank, should not be hitting in the millions. Thought this might be something the community was aware of or some cheese that I was not aware of, but all people respond is hurr durr tanks take more dam.

From that screenshot it could be from hitting a critter or a pet. Really tells us nothing other than something somewhere was hit for a lot and details recorded it. I mean the 2.5m regular hit is more concerning.
Well you see I led off with the fact that this happened in a skirm. Not sure why your initial instinct is to think I’m here to waste my time rather than either learn about an exploit or bring something to light.
yeah I read that but given the average forum user IQ I don’t put it past anyone to forget they recorded a different warlock’s damage from the open world or any other number of things they overlook. Plus since I don’t think anyone has ever seen a 2.5m HIT on a tank or anyone else I’d say there’s a good chance something may be getting missed with this report. Plus hurr durr tanks take more dam.
