Been shaking my head at blizzard upon finding out that Tier 3 ( second worst line of sets from vanilla mind you) are put behind a priveledge wall mainly from the rich whingers not wanting there âdedication etcâ being deminished by the common rabble. I honestly think the people in charge of these decisions are insane not just for this but a list too long to type here. It is clearly a ploy to generate whatever money they can from the remnants of this current playerbase. Then on top of gatekeeping Tier 3 crafting which requires a Feat of Strength 99% probably wont attain unless they are very desperate the whales who do own some if not all Tier 3 sets now hold a Monopoly over the rest of us and can charge any amount they want up to gold cap if they choose to do so and for what a Tier series that by right should not have been removed along with the raid and the 2 other raids back in the day but we cant change the past. And by the state of this mess it seems the future is just as bleak, As for fixing this issue yes Price drop on the Phylacterweave down to 200g is fine but that is not enough that Feat of Strength Drop Dead Gorgeous should be removed also itâs cancerous and blizzard 100% know it. Donât Gatekeep something that should never have made it too the BMAH let alone the BMAH ever being a thing and just compile the whole tier 3 set into a single cosmetic package and rotate them on the Trading post after you remove the BMAH and funnel the unobtainables on that there too. If we donât keep up this feedback those who Do want these sets will forever be without and as for me I could care less abou Owning a single one. They do not appeal to me but if this somehow got made differet then sure why the hell not Iâd craft it and then craft it for other players who would need it and I would barely even charge you because I can sustain gold well enough on my own. End Rant.

Any update with this nonsense or are Blizzard going to keep it this way for good. If they are not budging then thatâs fine more profit for them and the Whales already charging premiums.

Compared to people who raided to get it in Vanilla and TBC, didnât you get it for free pretty much? You had to wait and then press âbidâ. That sounds free compared to the months people spent clearing the content, farming for consumes to even do the content.

You donât think it was harder in Vanilla/TBC to get these items compared to now?
I wanted the Druid T3 chest and shoulders. I have TSM premium which tells me on what realms those items are available. I created a trial characters on those realms, bought a few WoW tokens, and then got the item.
How is that not way easier, than actually raiding?

Been playing this game since 2008 and I donât think Iâve ever posted. But I came here to say this exact thing.
The prices are insane; as soon as I did the math I completely dropped interest in doing any of this content.
Why does each piece need so many Phylacterweave? If youâre going to make it cost 2000 gold, then make it so it only costs 10 or something⌠but 70 just for the wrists? WTF is that about?
I donât farm gold, I have 13+ alts, and I know damn well that Iâve never had enough gold in all my time playing to pay for this whole set.

I have stated this in posts elsewhere If the original Decision to remove Naxx/ZG/ZA never happened ( Which logically should not have then I would not bother with this discussion).
Oh and you say Free Tier 3 as in we just get the same unlock as the Whales no. Blizzard still has lumped the gold sink with it even for thewhales they have to by the Phylacteweave and the Orbs so if they did change it they would still make money from tokens etc.
And as I expected to see again more defenders of the Logo in here which frankly sums up the current game in a nutshell.
I personally want 1 set from Tier 3 that being Warlock. the rest are D Tier just above AQ sets. Tier 1 and 2 will always have more inherant value due to the fake rarity Tier 3 and other items on the hopefully soon to be defunct BMAH which I hope gets absorbed into the Trading post which soon enough will have shop tokens to buy the Traderâs Tender If data mining is any form of accurate.

Most of the sets are pretty excellent despite their age, thatâs partially why so many people want them.
