2600+ WWs: How do you feel your DPS comparing to other spec in M+?

My M+ rating is around 2.6k, at 624 ilvl. Sadly, as a WW, I got most of my ratings through MW. I’ve literally spent 30+ hours pugging, only 1 or 2 times got invited as WW. I think that kind of reflects what the community thinks about WW.

From what I experienced, DK and PAL almost always do much higher DPS than me, and I can beat Shamans and Hunters sometimes. As for other specs, I don’t have much experience competing with them so I’m not very opinionated.

In contrast to what the guides may have suggested, my build centers around ToD. ToD always rank #2 or #3 in my damage list. ( Speaking of that, I think that ToD’s damage may be incorrectly recorded. My health is around 6M, and I usually wait until mobs’ health drop below 6M to use it, but when I look at the ToD data, on both Skada and Recount, it’s average hit is 8M. ) I haven’t got much chance to practice other talent build ( only 2 out of 10 runs I get to use WW) and it’s quite hard to test this with simcraft, because I don’t think it can properly simulate the benefit of ToD, which I think probably is why all of the guides don’t recommend Meridian Strikes ( Reduce Tod CD ) in M+.

So, what do you think, fellow WWs?

My damage is pretty fine in keys. I lose out to Ret, DK, and Warrior, but they tend to beat just about everyone and then I’ll often beat them on packs where they don’t have their cooldowns back up.

Overall, outside of the “meta” classes, I don’t really have a problem with my performance in keys, and I don’t pay much attention to the meters as long as the key gets timed. If we miss the timers then I’ll look at the meters in order to deflect any blame from myself.

I agree with that but I am also very interested to try meridian strikes now. I thought ToD focused build was dead after getting rid of the talents that made it AoE and able to cast twice in a row, but you have inspired me
