Sod gdkps weren’t even worth it anyway there were like 10 gold payouts I still gdkp in wrath and convert it to sod gold.
The fact that I know, that you know, that kill times, comp, and general efficiency of other players, doing things like innervating and battle ressing, all affect a druid’s ability to parse… and you still posted that, tells me and everyone else here what we already know. So far it doesn’t look that great.
In 3 hours I make 300-500 gold in sod by doing wrath gdkps. Which is what I was doing before gdkps were banned in SOD because they were 10g payouts in sod, that’s not efficient enough for me

Gdkps are the best pug system hands down.
All banning gdkps did for me is I didn’t make an alt to gdkp with, I only have my main and I raid log and group pvp.
I just play 1 toon now, so instead of having a toon to pug raids with I don’t. I’m sure I’m not the only 1 doing this.
Gdkps I feel were mostly used by people’s alts and most players who did gdkps still main raided in a guild.
Blizzard has been trash for years now tho and they won’t actually tackle the issue which is bots and RMT.
I agree. The problem is there’s not gold reset between phases/expansions. This has a multitude of issues. People who don’t already have gold are excluded unless they either get lucky or swipe. This introduces mass quantities of RMT gold into the game because you, a carry, don’t need to spend once you’re geared, but you keep going to get the gold. And you’re either bringing new alts from people who already have money, or buyers/whales who are swiping. If GDKP was a closed system, it would be amazing. But it’s not. It never will be, and it will always suffer from the same problems it has.
I have 2 but yeah, I’m sure you’re not wrong. A lot of people who were 40 D1/D2 didn’t level alts because there’s no free gold to absorb. Good, honestly. As the GDKP money dries up, the economy will normalize. This is already very apparent by consumes which are on average cheaper than P1 (compared to available gold from legitimate means, like questing). Sure, people are listing Gut Rippers for 1500, but that’s just as much a leftover symptom from GDKP as it is swiping. People get lucky, they know certain people have a lot of gold (either legit or not,) and they want a piece of it.
I’ve noticed a demonstrably lower number of bots in this phase than last phase. Anecdotal, yes, but my experience is my experience. I would see them literally -everywhere- in p1, and I rarely see one these days were I’m like “bot.” (I did see one while doing the mage rune in 1k endlessly running up a tiny hill trying to get a node.)
Assuming Blizzard isn’t doing anything about botting is disingenuous. Botting is probably easily a million-dollar industry, and as blizzard finds new ways to ban them, they’ll find new ways to avoid being banned. It’s a never-ending cycle.
And I know you know not all of that gold your trading is legit. If you’re doing this regularly no one source has enough legit gold to make these trades legally, and if you’re using multiple sources there’s no way to vet the gold. You’re swiping without swiping and then when you get banned, you’ll say, “but it’s not illegal”. You just don’t care that its swiped gold because you’re not the one actually swiping.
