Thank you for your response and taking action to resolve this situation. If this has been a miscommunication as you’ve noted that explains a lot (false flag noted, instead of false flag declined).
It’s a shame that direct contact is only when information is required. I’m sure from an Average Handling Time its the right decision but from a UX perspective it can come across as a bit cold though noting penalties is a different situation to what I would be used to.

False positives are incredibly rare.
The issue with an in-game chat for most penalties is that “true” positives are prone to get into debates about their penalty, which they gladly do as they have nothing to lose and perhaps even enjoy burning up Game Master time that could be better spent elsewhere.
It is understandable it is frustrating to be falsely hit, but a penalty system for a game of entertainment needs to be efficient and can lead to a bad experience for an innocent player. It is hoped that those who are innocent can at least appreciate the dynamics of applying penalties in a game that they may be able to roll with the punches, so to speak, since the larger picture is to reduce cheating, fraud, and other exploitive activities that remove value from having the game to play in the first place.
Bots or multi-boxers?
These are bots because they aren’t all doing the same thing at the same time. They all act differently and attack different targets at the same time. They just find these spots in the open world where mobs instantly respawn if killed fast enough and just chain kill them.

The SS I posted are all from different servers. Some are in a guild and some aren’t. Some are low geared and some are mid level. All are level 120.
The best way to report them is via right-click-report for cheating. I’d recommend removing the screenshot though as it’s considered a call-out which isn’t allowed.
It takes time for the reports to be viewed and for Blizz to take action once confirmed, but bots are a fight that Blizz is constantly in and working on.
Do this for all the characters you think may be bots. Blizz will check it out. If they’re legit players, no harm done. But if their cheaters, they will eventually be thwarted.
But be patient. The investigators are going to analyze the bots for a while and see how they can adapt their program to break the botting program. They they will ban a whole slew of bots en masse. If they do one by one, the bot makers will see that one of their programs got sniped and make some tweaks to the program and get right back out there. Think of it like a police drug trafficking investigation. Sure they could just go out and arrest the street dealers one at a time. But the bigger impact is when they are able to observe the operation over an extended period of time and build a bigger case to take down the whole organization.

It’s honestly hard to tell. I’ve seen them in a spot in Zuldazar and in a spot in Nazmir, and it’s always 5 Balance Druids standing in one spot chain killing mobs that respawn instantly.
I always assumed they were multi-boxing and either just killing mobs to level, or farming something that drops off those mobs, especially since they do not appear to be there 24/7.
Use your best judgement. If you have a suspicion, it does them no harm to report.
I just pull one of the mobs they are trying to get and kill it when they are close. They will see there is open loot or something to skin if it’s a skinning bot and you can lead them off a cliff or into wather and get them stuck. It’s actually pretty fun. They will run into a wall and about 20mins later they will realize what’s going on and reset themselves only to have me do it all over. Did it most to these skinning bots that were in the same place for months.
According to Blizzard they are incredibly rare, it is not something that happens much at all.
They have no reason to lie about it, take you conspiracy theories elsewhere, we don’t deal with that here.
I’m calling you calling Blizzard a liar a conspiracy theory. As stated false positives do happen but they are EXTREMELY rare, to say otherwise is simply you trying to create an argument.

I just wish blizzard would talk about it with us since we are Paying them money. I just got done with a 24 hour suspension and it said i exploited the Game and i have Zero clue what happened. I have played this game for 16 years and would never willing Exploit the system
Talking to a GM won’t do much as there’s tons and tons of tickets each day they have to work through. Talking to players will make the already, I believe, 24 to 48 hour ticket times shoot up to at least a week. They’re not there to try to talk your way out of an account action, nor do they need to show players proof that they found because it’ll holy harm in the long run.
It is an interesting dichotomy, because we are both the providers of a service, but also the enforcers of policy.
Yes, you (the figurative you, not specifically you) are paying a subscription fee to access the game, Bythos, but as a customer you also agree to abide by certain policies. That if a person is found to have violated those policies specific penalties are applied. So, yes, you paid money but you are also in violation of our policies and therefore subject to those penalties.
From what I can see, Bythos, the action was for advertising carries in group finder.
I was not even selling Carries I do that stuff for free If i see stuff like that i always report it. After all I have been Carried. But i remember the group now it was a Stormwind Vision run and i was the only high level. So i told someone i am carrying. I Do not see how someone thinks i carry for gold.
