What will be expected of you:

Discord is required, not just for listening purposes but to also communicate with the raid.

Attendance is a must, we understand that real life comes first and are more than happy to make necessary adjustments but a heads up is always appreciated.

Preparedness is another must; we always show up with pots, flask, and food buffs. Most nights Cauldrons and Feasts will be provided, but having the backups just in case is required.

Performance is a no brainer. Although mechanics are important maintaining high DPS and or Healing is extremely important.

The​ ​Idea

The idea of efficient raiding, instead of bulk raiding to down content. It has been done before, but we intend to do it better. We intend to build more than a WoW raiding guild, we’re building a community. We are very active on and off of raid times, and due to our easy schedule, we have time to play and organize other events and games outside of WoW.

Environment

We enjoy the environment we’re building, and the people we are building it with. As a guild, our goal is to down content – but enjoy this game in a way we haven’t in a long time. There will be no screaming, scolding, or calling out. The best way to describe our raid environment is proactive and communicative. We will discuss issues, mechanics, strategies, and mistakes openly to curb them and move on. We will go back to a log or video and discussed what happened on walls.

Hey Lels,

I’m looking for a warlock as of 10/2. I need someone who can play their specs at a high level while also executing mechanics. I need this spot filled within the next few weeks, as our other warlock would like to move to backup.

I want reliable, experienced, active player who can keep up with systems. If you like to push higher keys, there are people who enjoy doing that (+20 and higher). There are also plenty of players who just like to do their 15s and 16s.

We raid Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00 - 11:30 PM eastern. We also raid on Sunday nights during the same time, although this is an optional night where we do flex content. If we’re close to getting CE and time is limited, I may add on a few Tuesday or Sunday nights. I also asked the mythic raid team to raid Tuesday nights for the first five weeks of this new raid tier before going back to a two-night schedule. It gave us a great head start.

Our guild is Obsidian Spur on the Thrall realm. Horde. We’re an original 2004 launch guild, and I’ve been the GM since 2007 (TBC days). I try to find players who are both competent and decent people. People who like raiding but also value community and guild.

Repetition has recently transferred to horde on Tichondrius from Alliance on Stormrage. We are looking to bolster our roster for the current and future raid tiers as well as have the ability to change and alter our roster for different boss fights. As a guild we also like to have fun whether that be in M+, PvP or while doing fun guild events. We are very laid back people that like to have fun and be competitive with each other inside and out of a raid setting. We also supply almost everything needed to progress in a raid tier (Cauldrons/food/repairs/vantus runes).

EXPECTATIONS:
Raiders are expected to be ready to go 10 minutes prior to raid time, if you are going to be late, or miss let an officer know. Real life happens but the sooner we know the sooner we can make preperations for a replacement.
During progression of a raid tier, ALL raiders will use flasks, food, and other consumables that are provided by the guild. Runes are optional as they are not provided by the guild.
You are expected to read up / watch multiple videos on the raid tier / current progression boss…
If you need other consumables that are not regularly made, let an officer know and the next time the guild bank is stocked, it will be there.
Constructive feedback about the guild and raiding is always welcomed and expected. Please try not to submit complaints unless accompanied by alternative courses of action. Try to help the guild and each other so that we all succeed.
The guild’s raids and its progression come first. Raiders are expected to attend all raids and strive to improve even if its minuscule. Raiders who are not performing well or slacking in some areas risk losing their raid spot for a period of time.
During progression, mythic raiders are expected to complete at least 4 Mythic +15 keys per week. Let us know if you need help!

Raiders should come prepared to raid in a progression-minded environment by having food, flasks, pots, runes, tomes, and anything else you might need. Gear should be gemmed and enchanted. Raiders should know fights before hand so if they have any questions or comments on how things are done on a fight they can be asked a head of time. Team members should maintain a positive attitude during raid and help fellow teammates to improve where needed.

Attendance should be 2/3 or better. Consistency offers a better raiding atmosphere for all raiders. We understand that sometimes you may need to post out for the night. We expect raiders to post out in the attendance channel that they will not be attending raid.

About our Team
We are one of the newest teams in Eternal Kingdom forming approximately 1 month after Castle Nathia came out. After forming up and getting our core group set we started to progress extremely quickly. In Castle Nathria despite the late start we achieved progressed up to Sludgefist and nearly killed him.

There will be zero tolerance for drama and a high expectation for all raiders to treat each other with respect. If you have any concerns, please bring them to leadership immediately. We will do everything we can to ensure that our raid atmosphere remains relaxed and fun while also focusing on killing bosses.
