2400 8/9H Holy Priest looking for guild that does not funnel loot with RC in heroic

I have been through 5 raids and have been given 1 item. Meanwhile our dps are kitted in 4p. My token is oversaturated. I dont find this fun, so I am making this post for a potential new guild. I do my part. I just want a place that 1) Is not prioritizing loot for certain people. 2) Does not use RC loot for heroic (mythic is fine). If everyone got what was dropped for them- it would be more even and the team would be stronger.

I dont want to wait till week 6 or later for items that were it my loot pool at the start. If you are in late heroic prog and need a HP ping.

Dps should always be geared before healers. Iā€™m a healer main as is 2 other officers and we havenā€™t received gear in 2 normal and 2 heroic clears. Welcome to being a healer.GL in that.

About Us

Weā€™re a semi-hardcore mythic raiding guild with a CE goal. We previously raided in season 3 and 4 of SL in anticipation for DF. Our ultimate goal is to achieve CE , and repeat CEā€™s each tier . We also enjoy pushing mythic+ with plenty members over 2.6k+ io.

We want to recruit few exceptional players to push for CE in 10.1

WED/THUR . Raid times are 7:30-10:30 PM Server time/Central

Expectations

-Good attendance is mandatory ( we know real life happens so weā€™ll make exceptions but repeat offense might cause us to replace you).
-Mythic raiding experience is necessary. Weā€™re looking for players that know their class well and are mechanically sound.
-Outside of raid players must spend time on their own getting better at their class and gearing up their character. (We prefer most our mythic raiders not to just be raid loggers).
-Be able to joke around and have a good attitude. Weā€™re all older and enjoy cracking jokes but we also get serious when itā€™s time to.

I raidled this guy in Shadowlands. He ninja quit on the guild we built and wouldnā€™t respond to messages. He was unwilling to adapt to a meta that asked healers to do damage. Iā€™m unsure if that has changed, but now heā€™s still looking for a guild 5 tiers later. I think thatā€™s telling.

His original post was telling. A prog mindset, especially as a trial status, understands gearing and how it should be distributed. Why would a decent guild give gear to a trial, especially a healing trial when they have zero assurance that they will even make it or stick around. Free bump!

Im not gonna roast you here. But your guild was full of new players wanting to be CE. I found a real CE guild in pugs who wanted me. I was with them and I moved to another Mid-Tier mythic guild. I am fine here lol, but i wouldnā€™t mind a heroic/ enter mythic guild who are not chads about loot and let it roll.

I mean imo players should be geared regardless of trial or player status.
If you give them a few pieces and they bounce, so what.
If you come into the raid, trial or not, you have every right to roll on a piece that you feel you need.
If ainā€™t a fit, boohoo crap happens get on with your life.

  2. Maintain a growth (learning) mindset. A consistent commitment to improvement is worth infinitely more than raw skill.

Besides these two most-important concepts, there are a number of lesser requirements:

  • You must be a tagged member of to join us in raid content. Donā€™t want to transfer? We have over 20 connected guilds on most large WoW servers.

  • You must have discord and a working mic to raid.

  • Put the guildā€™s progress above personal loot.

  • Use the tools at your disposal. DeadlyBossMods addon, Weak Auras, Angry assignments, anything else to give you the 1% edge.

  • Run M+ to fill the weekly vault. We will help with this.

End of the day:

Our main goal is to let you play what you want to play. We expect punctuality and commitment to the raid group and respect towards the other raid members. Our bare minimum requirement is to know your class, know the fights, and be willing to learn and improveā€“for your own benefit, and the benefit of the team. All of these things really should go without sayingā€“you take pride in your skill and abilities. Stick with us, and you will eventually unlock the doors on mythic raiding, and be counted among the best players in the game.

Mythic Plus

Dungeons are a key part of the game, and are integral in building a gearset to push top content. From learning a new dungeon at the start of an expansion to pushing keys with a group of friends, there is always lots of fun to be had and we could always use another member to help. Keys are a great way to have some fun while making new friends. There is a wide range of keys being pushed, from +2 to +20, and Iā€™m sure in our community you will find members that fit your playstyle.

Cross-Faction Gaming

At the time of this writing, we have guilds on 19 American servers and one OCE server that raid and run dungeons together. We also have a cross-faction community Discord that serves as a hub to connect all of these servers, and let you interface and run content with folks from wherever we are. And we have GIFs.

Your type struggles to get AoTC every tier: you have no clue what prog raiding is. Your normal parse of 21 and heroic parse of 24 proves as much. You have zero clue what youā€™re even talking about.

So every raid team has their own loot rulesā€¦to me if you donā€™t agree with those loot rules, donā€™t join the raid team or guildā€¦simple as thatā€¦you sound very bothered by the fact that this is a thing, not giving loot to trialsā€¦

I donā€™t care if I struggle to get an achievement or a piece of loot.

Itā€™s a game not a job.

If you donā€™t want to worry about ā€œgivingā€ loot away to someone who will ultimately leave your ego driven hyper competitive hive mind guilds then maybe you should do a better job of recruiting PEOPLE instead of numbers.

All this stress and drama over a game.

Can always tell who doesnā€™t give a single flop about their members when they insult you over parses in the first week of the tier when nobody has any gear or fight knowledge at all.
Difference between prog mindset and casual I guess.

also for your information, Iā€™ve talked with Ehlissa several times, one of the most genuine people. Several guilds I know that donā€™t care about loot who have cleared CE each tier.

I got 2 pieces of tier gear from a raid night from a guild, and it just didnā€™t work out. Stuff happens, flagging this thread so it gets taken down.

You and nakkita both. I spoke to the both of you back in Shadowlands about joining yalls guild, lasted 3 days in Nakā€™s, and you didnā€™t even finish a conversation with me before getting exponentionally rude and saying ā€œoh weā€™re mythic, you arenā€™t good enough for usā€ and blocked me. News flash, just because people donā€™t do Mythic progression doesnā€™t mean they arenā€™t good enough for it. I have multiple orange parses from last tier, and some purples on my main from this tier. Yall were two of the most toxic individuals I have ever spoken to, and multiple people in Nakā€™s guild using the N word in discord chat proved my point back in Shadowlands Season 4. Do you realize not everyone gives a rats behind about killing a boss the second week it is out? Not everyone progresses at the same pace, or really even cares to prog a raid. Some peoples prog is mythic plus, like myself.
I could care less about having to recruit 25+ people and smack a boss for 3-4 hours 2-3 days a week and get no loot and frustrated, whereas mythic plus you can do 5-6 keys in that amount of time and get nearly one piece guarenteed. This is why I have become guildless and just run with my m+ team. 90% of guilds nowadays are either cliques, toxicity and drama, or a mix of all 3. Who gives a rat if you miss out on one piece of loot. Holy hellballs
