Since the 12.0.5 content update, we’ve been building on your feedback with targeted improvements aimed at enhancing the play experience. Recent hotfixes along with Midnight: Revelations changes have already addressed some issues with rewards, looting, quest experience, and durability loss. More updates are planned in the Curse of Ula’tek content update, including account-wide user interface settings, Auction House improvements, a one-time Profession Knowledge reset, and fixes for common combat and travel issues.
Having experienced many of these bugs myself (including the dismount when entering Zul’Aman, when lag prevented even my druid from recasting flight form), I’m glad to see that they’re fixing up the game.
Seems like more could be done but step in the right direction I suppose.
took this long to deal with auto loot
took so long i even installed an entire addon to deal with it three months ago
thanks i guess?
A rare bug where Valeera would sometimes suddenly die in Delves has been fixed.
Can we actually keep this one in
Adding the option to display map coordinates in the user interface
Ok that’s huge and 20 years in the making lol
Auction House filters will persist after closing and reopening the window, helping players get to their previous searches quicker.
This is also a good one.
- Reduced repair costs: Combat events such as swinging a weapon or blocking with a shield no longer cause “wear and tear” durability loss to armor and weapons.
All of the QOL changes are great except this one. They love to make the game a bit more shallow and disguise those types of changes as QOL. Weapons should absolutely take durability damage from being swung. Shields should absolutely take durability damage from being hit.
It’s minor, but it’s the kind of thing that inevitably leads to them doing something stupid like removing armor types, or removing repairs entirely. Having to maintain your gear is part of WoW.
… this is a joke, right?
Literally nothing in Silvermoon changed.
Know how it should have been from the very start to fix these issues? Put all amenities in the Horde area as well, not just half of them. Spread everyone out more evenly.
No fix for the bug where any new items purchased from a vendor such as decor, recipes, profession skill books etc require a /reload before we can actually learn them?
Today on “things we’ve had for years until you guys broke them and took 7 months (and counting) to add back in worse baseline versions”
Perhaps, but it was disproportionately impacting tanks and notably boosting there repair costs. This was more to make tanking less painful than anything else.
\o/
Important to note that this does not include Haranir armor clipping. In fact, you’ve added more since the original post about fixing it “within the next week or so” nearly 4 months ago. Keep up the great work though!
Over two years of auto-looting being bugged and only now is it (allegedly) getting anything done about it.
I’m probably just bitter and jaded at this point but, like, why did it take this long just to announce there’s a supposed fix planned?
Thanks! These are great changes <3
The only thing more embarrassing than that is
The fact that anyone outside of Blizzard (Plumber by Peterodox) had to fix that is humiliating.
The fact that the basic act of looting was broken should have been seen as a P0, stop-shipment level catastrophe - not an “eh, we’ll deal with it when we feel like it” mild inconvenience.
Whoever is setting priority among the developers shouldn’t get to make decisions.
Put race change on the barber shop
This is a QoL improvement I’m waiting for
Right like lol not to be a downer or anything but what the heck, how did it take this long to get native coordinates and are we really meant to be celebrating them for it ![]()
“Looting fixes: We have tracked down and fixed a sneaky bug that could cause area looting and auto-loot to sometimes fail. Please let us know if you continue to encounter this behavior.”
Neat.
Abject desperation lol
Can we finish up the overdue account-wide reputations?
