Retail transmog system with no warning?

Why was this not even on the PTR? Saving transmog sets in this new system costs over 3x as much in most cases. Just checked and it was 1480g to save 1 set. I’m looking at 10s of thousands of gold to interact with this system on my characters (which all have multiple sets). I get that the system allows you to save them all and change to them at will, but that amount of gold in MoP compared to retail is actually unacceptable

Because it was on the ptr the whole time ptr was up? Just like edit mode and all the other changes.

Trashy move if intentional, especially since active and saved transmog was all deleted.

no one plays ptr

I was legit on the PTR earlier this week, and idk if it was just my client, but the same system was there, not to mention, my mog was unchanged on there (unlike now)

my transmog was erased on ptr so I don’t know what to tell you

all the things people are complaining about not being “warned about” were all on the PTR

Just how much more expensive IS the ‘new’ system?

Any gold cost system that assumes players have retail gold levels will NOT work well.

It’s about 1k for a full gear xmog

Question: I haven’t played retail in 2 expansions.

Does this save the mog permanently or do you still need to update it with every single new piece of gear?

Not everyone plays PTR.

Also, I do not remember this crappy change being in the original version of MoP.

Yeah, they can kiss my character’s ‘donkey’.

Constantly pushing retail garbage into classic will end up killing it.

But maybe that’s what they really want.

like in the post, close to 1500g to save 1 full set. some of my toons i have 5-6 sets that i swapped around in. 7k+ to just save my outfits is insane when it was just 300g~
I get that in the long run (if there even is a future beyond this patch) it would save gold overall though. But this upfront cost is INSANE when the gold is so much more inflated on retail than here

The only hope I have left is they make it so there’s an active set and it automatically applies the looks even after swapping gear around, instead of a gold cost for each new piece.

It’s a public test realm for patches before they launch, if you don’t care about what effects and content may launch in the game you don’t also get to cry about not being “warned”.

Dealing with retail must blow all your minds every 3-6 months

that IS how it works, at least on retail now. The insane up front costs for saving the sets however is unacceptable at the moment

Agreed.

I’m not paying tens of thousands of gold upfront just to use a system that worked PERFECTLY beforehand.

I actively PLAY retail. I don’t hate the system. I think it’s actually great. However, 7+k PER CHARACTER to save my sets is unacceptable for MoP gold standards.

Has been on the PTR the entire time.

Please please notice that there are no community managers in Classic so nothing is being communicated.

Guys.. you are asking for 5 minutes from these guys.. that is 5 minutes to long.. just deal with it..

The best way to show them who is boss is to go play TBC and buy a boost. For real.. that shows them who is boss.
