I will never understand why blizzard can’t implement a item lv rule to balance out games. Mmr is broken; tanking a rating is to easy and people can just get a few 220 players that have tanked to 1500 to carry them to 1600-1800. I’ve spent weeks trying to get to just challenger on my alt only to run in to 220+ geared players while me and my whole team are sitting around 207-210. It’s like playing league of legends in silver Elo only to be queued against some plat players. You will lose 1,000’s of players. Atleast try and act like something will be done to help it. In the mean time I’ll just chill.

Isn’t templates in the lvl 20 bracket?
That requires them caring enough about it and/or also probably hiring more pvp devs and other things. None of this will happen, as activision is too greedy to allow more developers on the team unless they can get them at maximum cheapo, or maybe it’s the shareholders, Idk but whoever controls the money is still far too cheap/greedy to just get more people to fix the game.
Yes, yes it is very broken. It doesn’t even let players get to the 2nd rank before losses begin counting against their rating like it did in every other expansion. 1400 rating required to get the 2nd rank, 1250+ you can begin losing rating for losing games. In previous expansions it was 1200 rating to get to the next rank and until then you never lost any rating at all.
Yeah, this expansion promotes carry games far more than any other expansion has so far.
Same, but not just alt, even on my main. We run into so many 220+ geared players and we finally just hit 1600 2 weeks ago. Last week on RBG night we were sitting at 1630 or so MMR and kept running into 1800+ MMR teams all with at least 4 2k+ rated players on them. It’s quite disgusting how many boosters there are boosting the games and how often you actually run into them during the day/night time. Last week we went 4 wins 5 losses on the RBG night I was able to attend and they went …I think it was like 6-8 or 6-7 or something close again on the previous night that I was not able to attend. Just keep running into all of those wonderful boosting players, or just bored high rated players.
Even ran into RBG groups where they stacked like 3 or 4 boomkins, or 2-3 Aff locks plus a boomkin, like super meta stacking groups consistently while not everyone plays only meta on my group. I’m not gonna force the team, it’s just dumb unless they decide to make your rating account wide or something, then I would force people to play meta just to get the account wide part, then they can play whatever they wanted.

Yes, and the MMR should be improved, or the gear differences should be massively scaled down where it’s nowhere near as big of a power gap from 210-220. Nevertheless, though, you are right they are for everyone. They are also very easily abused by everyone and even moreso by top rated players/carries.

I’m at 1500 wearing 220 because that’s the only way a hunter gets into no cr yolos. Haven’t found any guilds doing rbgs on my server and I’ve never been accepted into a 1500+ push group.

This character is 1560 from last week, and was 188 ilvl (at 17% vers) before Tuesday when I spent my conquest. We were hard stomping (most games, think I’m 10/14 games) teams of 35-40k HP players on a team of nothing but sub 190 alts everyone created last week.
Good communication wins most games in those brackets.

Simple enough, as long as people are doing carries and charging gold, people will be buying WoW tokens. WoW in SLs is Pay to Win more then ever.

Might be a bit overstating things, but you right it’s rough for hunters atm.
We’re just not meta. Which to me is odd, in past seasons every RBG wanted at least one hunter, not now tho. Most of the groups I even get in this season have been people from my friends list who I’ve played with in the past. Trying to LFG as a non-meta class is so painful.
It’s ok tho I don’t get to fight anyone. Only do th for the weekly quest since I’m a base sitter kinda stay away from them.
Join an rbg community. Lots of us dropped from 2.1k to help lower bracket groups and alts. Make sure u get active in first week of s2. Work through the losses. Start your own groups. Lfg is not your friend unless your a healer
