Theyre playing boomkin and destro

Demo also feelin’ pretty cozy.

Blizz makes everyone hate the rating system. They picked that.

2400 arena rating != 2500 m+ rating. If you want a comparable metric for PvP to PvE, i’d look at the number of M+ players over 3100

Here’s a stat I want answered…

How many first time glads were there account wise, not character, that were not ret paladins before .7 nerfs.

Reason is it feels like glad is only reasonably obtained by those with a steady group of friends and prestigious pvp History as compared to m+ or mythic raiding

A lot of people say this but I feel like that’s a cop out of an excuse

The best way to get good is to certainly have someone better than you queue with you/coach you but people are improving all the time

Well yeah of course. But how many multi glads are willing to push with LFG Larry Gonzales’

Not saying it’s impossible but just seems unlikely.

But that’s why I’m saying if such a stat is available

If Larry is enjoyable to queue with then probably most of them

Probably isn’t good enough! This is SCIENCE!

We need numbers!

Yeah it would be a nice thing to see but I’m not sure last season is a good metric for first time glads

One of the most unfun metas I’ve ever been in

Lol I know, that’s why I said not including ret players prior to nerfs.

Hell what about prior to .7 entirely

Idk it was a deflated season for a while and then a sea of rets

Doubtful that there were many first time glads and also likely that people with a couple glads didn’t achieve it

Season 2 will prob be better for such a measurement but other already have their own gripes with it that’ll contaminate the results.

I think reasonably is the key word here, and sort of agree. I play 4 classes/5 specs of healer over 2k XP, and 1800 SL XP on MW. I’d say that’s decent. There’s a zero % chance any btag is trying to put in work to learn/play a real comp and attempt a glad push with me (not that I’m even actually interested), and people around my XP have no interest in rolling a comp and learning to play it together.

Excluding getting lucky you need hyper inflated seasons with very active LFGs for new glads. We just haven’t had that in a while.

Yep whatever they’ve done to MMR this season has pretty much made it dead on arrival. It’s like they deliberately tried to kill WoW PvP participation between Ret rework and now this

What the hell are you even talking about

That’s how It felt for everyone to be fair, you just get a certain xp, play with people at that xp that you meet through lfg or durotar or wherever, you get a higher xp. You keep getting better at the game and then eventually you’re a 24xp player and you’ll have a much easier time finding people to get glad with.
(That’s obviously the ideal world, but that’s how it worked for me)
