We’ve recently made the following change, which is live on all realms.
Raids
Heart of Fear
Garalon
Arms Warriors’ Sweeping Strikes no longer deal 100% increased damage to Garalon’s body when striking a Leg.
Developers’ notes: In Original Mists of Pandaria, during the first week of Heart of Fear Heroic difficulty, a Garalon hotfix addressed Sweeping Strikes, Blade Flurry, and similar effects. This was later superseded by changes made to Sweeping Strikes in patch 5.4, when Garalon was no longer the most relevant content. This fix returns Sweeping Strikes to its original behavior for Garalon’s body.
Additionally, this change will go live with scheduled weekly maintenance in each region:
Classes
Rogue
Subtlety
Sanguinary Veins bonus damage reduced to 40% (was 50%).
Developers’ notes: A bug fix made right before the release of Heart of Fear addressed a situation where multiple rogues in a group were constantly removing this damage increase from each other and not benefitting from it. The bug was pulling down average Subtlety performance, and since the correction, things got a little out of hand. This may display an incorrect value between 40/45/50%, so to be clear, 40% is the intended value.
We will continue to monitor the performance of all classes in Mists of Pandaria Classic as players’ gear improves with raid progression, and we expect to develop more adjustments as they become necessary.
What’s the point of playing Classic versions of World of Warcaft if changes are just going to happen? Progressive patches with the Original Timeline are the only acceptable way to release a Classic version of an older World of Warcraft expansion.
Give the Real Classic Playerbase TBC Era & WotLK Era. We do not want to play changed and ruined versions of the game.
To play the game as the current Classic maintainers envision it could be according to their preferences.
“The Real Classic Playerbase” seems to be a bunch of BG Throwers that just want free lootz with no effort. And the devs seem to cater to them pretty hard.
Players can earn progress towards their Legendary questline by defeating the Sha of Doubt and obtaining the Chimera of Doubt while on the associated quest.
Legendary quest progress, with quest additions made to preserve the lore, should players choose to use Celestial Dungeons rather than Raids to progress the legendary quest chain.
There is a bug that makes the quest rewards for those who chose celestial dungeons rather than raids (… to progress the legendary quest chain) unable to be used.
well done, congrats on making sub, a spec that is suppose to be top for single target one of the worst dps on sim again. could u guys at least jump on sim to check what your adjustment would do before implementing them
