So locks and mages are getting spirit gear from bonus rolls and intended or not that’s just dumb. But priests are getting intellect shields. So something is definitely broken here.

Definitely sucks. But it still beats the gold bag. Did sha on my priest the bonus roll window stopped on “loot” but gave me a gold bag anyway, got my hopes up for nothing

warlocks and mages don’t get spirit anymore, its been fixed as of like 2 days ago and i haven’t seen any report on it since
shadow priest shields…yeah, that’s pretty bad.

Our mistweaver monk bonus rolled a shield last night. Definitely broken right now
Yes, there was an issue where Priests were unfortunately eligible for shields with a spirit stat, with both quest rewards and bonus rolls.
We have implemented temporary fix where shields with a spirit stat are no longer available as a quest reward in Mists of Pandaria content. Priests will no longer be roadblocked, but for the time being, Shamans and Paladins won’t receive the shield rewards from those quests.
We’re working to develop a better fix for this issue, and after the next fix, Shamans and Paladins will again be eligible to receive their shield quest rewards.

Surely this is a joke?
“We can’t seem to fix the issue with a couple of non-shield wearing classes getting shields as rewards/bonus rolls. We have now fixed the issue with screwing over shield wearing classes.
In a week or so we will again allow paladins and shamans to receive shields and instead move the minor inconvenience to warriors and death knights who will now receive plate intellect gear. We will rotate through all classes with the loot bug for the next year and a half. Thank you for your patience and understanding”

If they only had a little more time to focus on class balance. Its the single most important thing to do in classic expansions.

At least I would be seeing some kind of gear 
I put in a ticket before this was posted because I received a shield as a bonus loot roll from Mogu’shan Vaults as a Discipline Priest. The response I got in the ticket was:

You’ll get loot based on a table of what your class can use across all specializations but it favors your chosen spec. **Obviously none of my specs can use a shield, though.

If I believe the loot table result is incorrect, submit a suggestion to the devs to correct it to remove the shield “Eye of the Ancient Spirit” from the Priest loot table.
They said they couldn’t give me my coin back.

You guys sure you don’t want to look more into this so warriors and rogues aren’t bonus rolling int swords in the future? So hunters don’t get int mail or rogues get int leather? Hopefully mages and locks don’t get str and agi swords either.
I’m really not joking with this. People shouldn’t have to worry about their bonus rolls giving them something their class can’t actually effectively use.
